My Opinion by John Zilverberg: December 2011
http://myopinionbyjz.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
My Opinion by John Zilverberg. Friday, December 16, 2011. Plenty of Money Out There Yet. It amazes me how many people still believe the republican rhetoric that Obama is not showing any leadership and that he is to blame for not balancing the budget or for not creating more jobs. But the simple fact is, the republican house majority has blocked every effort President Obama has made to balance the budget; that is, by raising the revenue to pay for his jobs programs. We all made our money in this country s...

My Opinion by John Zilverberg: Presidential Debate - #1
http://myopinionbyjz.blogspot.com/2012/10/presidential-debate-1.html
My Opinion by John Zilverberg. Thursday, October 11, 2012. Presidential Debate - #1. Well the first 2012 presidential debate is history and the first impression seems to be that Romney won the debate. But I don’t think Obama seemed like himself. I wondered if he was sick. He did not look well and didn’t have his usual fighting spirit that he needed for this debate. Romney was very aggressive and seemed to be dominating the debate. And if you took his words as gospel it would seem he was winning the debate.

My Opinion by John Zilverberg: Closer to the Edge
http://myopinionbyjz.blogspot.com/2012/12/closer-to-edge.html
My Opinion by John Zilverberg. Thursday, December 6, 2012. Closer to the Edge. With the fiscal cliff getting closer, congress is still making no headway. The republican party insists the president has no plan and that he is showing no leadership. This, dear readers, simply isn’t true. We may fall off the cliff yet. I had hoped that after the election and following the president’s public mandate that the republicans would be more cooperative for the benefit of the country and the rest of the public.

My Opinion by John Zilverberg: April 2012
http://myopinionbyjz.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
My Opinion by John Zilverberg. Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Would You Eat an Offensively Slippery, Clinging Substance? Recently, the product known as “lean, finely textured beef” suddenly got a bad name, causing people to reject it. This caused manufacturing plans to close down and gave the beef industry a bad name because the stuff was tagged as “slime.”. 65279;. When a product is published with the title “slime,” it’s no wonder people turned away from it. Who would want to eat slime?

My Opinion by John Zilverberg: January 2012
http://myopinionbyjz.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
My Opinion by John Zilverberg. Friday, January 13, 2012. The Humane Thing to Do. There are some thousand or more refugees in Huron brought in by the Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota. These are people from Burma that fled to the refugee camps in Thailand and have never had anything. They are happy to have a safe place to live and a job – at any price – and to take them in is the humane thing to do. We, the American people, may soon need some refugee camps of our own. My Opinion by John Zilverberg: Worst Disaster this Country has Ever Seen
http://myopinionbyjz.blogspot.com/2012/11/worst-disaster-this-country-has-ever.html
My Opinion by John Zilverberg. Sunday, November 4, 2012. Worst Disaster this Country has Ever Seen. As we head into Election Day, Obama and Romney are in a dead heat in the race for the presidency. And the cost has been pretty high. Unfortunately the Republican’s had the power in the house to block all of Obama’s efforts to balance the budget. In spite of the Republican’s blockade, we have made considerable progress. My opinion by John Zilverberg. My Opinion by John Zilverberg. United States of America.

My Opinion by John Zilverberg: July 2012
http://myopinionbyjz.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
My Opinion by John Zilverberg. Thursday, July 26, 2012. A Political Standstill And A Drought. It looks like congress is not going to get anything of major importance done before election. The republicans can’t afford to let Obama accomplish anything that might help him get reelected. It’s too bad we send these people to Washington and expect them to do what is good for the country and the general public and pay the $175,000 a year to do it and they spend their time playing politics. My Opinion by John Zilverberg: September 2012
http://myopinionbyjz.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
My Opinion by John Zilverberg. Friday, September 28, 2012. 163 Thousand Jobs in July Still Not Enough. I see where businesses produced 163 thousand new jobs in July. That’s still not enough for our growing population and all the jobs that have left the country because we priced ourselves out of the world markets. Even now the unions are asking for ‘cost of living’ increases – and in most cases getting it. Of course, the government could equalize that somewhat with a proper tax system; if the government t...

My Opinion by John Zilverberg: Republican Convention
http://myopinionbyjz.blogspot.com/2012/09/republican-convention.html
My Opinion by John Zilverberg. Saturday, September 1, 2012. Then of course they spent a lot of time bashing Obama and blaming him for everything they could think of, most of which was not based on the truth or actual facts. The fact is that anything that Obama tried to do to balance the budget was blocked by the republican controlled senate. And that means all the people. My opinion by John Zilverberg.
