Hissy Fits: Really Random Thoughts...
http://hissy-fits.blogspot.com/2013/01/really-random-thoughts.html
Royal rants and ramblings about my moderately mundane, yet majestic, microcosm. Saturday, January 26, 2013. The rink is my happy place. It is the place to which I long to return when I have big thoughts through which to work, and yet the ice has been sorely lacking in my life for the last several years, years that provided, the arguably biggest thoughts to think. . Hissy Fits: Mother's Day
http://hissy-fits.blogspot.com/2013/05/mothers-day.html
Royal rants and ramblings about my moderately mundane, yet majestic, microcosm. Friday, May 10, 2013. I've not left my kingdom, I'm still around. I'm just busy with life's ups and downs which, quite frankly, are far more pronounced when one is a single mom of three trying to make her way through the world, than they were in my more carefree married days. Hissy Fits: Trust
http://hissy-fits.blogspot.com/2013/01/trust.html
Royal rants and ramblings about my moderately mundane, yet majestic, microcosm. Monday, January 28, 2013. We all know that trust is the foundation of any relationship. Without it, that foundation cracks, and whatever's been built upon it is at risk of crumbling. Trust can take years and years to build, yet can be destroyed in a matter of seconds, with the utterance of just a few words, or the painful moment when one discovers an egregious act has been committed. Can trust ever be rebuilt? I am a believer...

Hissy Fits: December 2012
http://hissy-fits.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Royal rants and ramblings about my moderately mundane, yet majestic, microcosm. Sunday, December 9, 2012. I wonder how one justifies a lie of omission as more acceptable than one that is spoken aloud. I wonder how one fib, told to try to soften a blow, is uttered and tolerated by anyone who understands and practices universal truth. I wonder what makes me want to not trust my gut. because my gut is right on a regular basis. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Subscribe to My Hissy Fits. Real ...

Hissy Fits: July 2012
http://hissy-fits.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Royal rants and ramblings about my moderately mundane, yet majestic, microcosm. Saturday, July 21, 2012. In my kingdom, I try very hard not to start a question with the word "why". Why, you ask? That said, I stumbled across a why question today from someone who shares my view on why questions. The question was just a general "why? With regard to the tragedy in Colorado. What happened in Colorado is a terrible, heartbreaking tragedy. There will never be an answer to the question "why? Links to this post.

Royal rants and ramblings about my moderately mundane, yet majestic, microcosm. Wednesday, February 20, 2013. My Heart Sang on St. Valentine's Day. What Made My Heart Sing this Valentine's Day? CJ was a regular participant in one of my yoga classes from the very first time I taught it. She has remained steady through two format changes, rarely missing a week in more than a year. Her practice is beyond beautiful and she has a light about her that is contagious and uplifting. Links to this post. Lucky Do...

Hissy Fits: August 2012
http://hissy-fits.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Royal rants and ramblings about my moderately mundane, yet majestic, microcosm. Sunday, August 26, 2012. It's Not Valentine's Day. Yet I am reflecting upon love. Take that, Hallmark! Today I realized that I was not wrong about my curriculum. I just needed some multi-modal teaching techniques in order to get it through my pea-sized brain and understand it from a more global perspective. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Hissy Fits: October 2012
http://hissy-fits.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Royal rants and ramblings about my moderately mundane, yet majestic, microcosm. Saturday, October 27, 2012. Living and Dying Examples. People often tell me I am "lucky" to have children who are considerate, respectful and compassionate. Typically, I would write "luck has nothing to do with it; raising nice kids is hard work". and it surely is. but I realize now that I am. Lucky because I learned how to instill these qualities into my children through the living and dying examples of my own parents.
