diary of life with a spaniel: Oh honestly
http://diaryofatoerag.blogspot.com/2011/05/oh-honestly.html
Diary of life with a spaniel. Friday, 20 May 2011. I have spent most of the week worrying, manipulating all his limbs, worrying, debating on whether or not to take him to the vets, worrying, making him get up and pootle up and down the corridor every few hours to stop him seizing up, and worrying. http://diaryofatoerag.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Diary of life with a spaniel. Monday, 27 September 2010. He CAN do leave it. in the living room anyway! Just in case you can't see, it's Henry resisting the temptation of a chicken breast. Sorry it's sideways, I don't know how to fix it! Now, all we need are some volunteers to have a picnic so we can see what happens. anyone? Don't all shout at once! Saturday, 25 September 2010. Leave it. LEAVE IT! Gah, why did I get a spaniel? To the far side of the field. Where there were spectators. I said LEAVE IT!

diary of life with a spaniel: Challenge!
http://diaryofatoerag.blogspot.com/2013/01/challenge.html
Diary of life with a spaniel. Wednesday, 2 January 2013. Uh-oh This is what happens when you have a bright idea. It grows of its own accord! After doing some sums, it looks like I can expect to average at least 6 miles every working week, plus of course extra distance at weekends - so I've set myself a target of covering, with Spud, 384 miles this year, which is the distance of the Coast to Coast walk twice. Spud says his feet hurt already. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

diary of life with a spaniel: December 2011
http://diaryofatoerag.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Diary of life with a spaniel. Monday, 19 December 2011. Which she seemed to find quite worrying, although me and the bloke weren't that bothered. So I got home and dried off and thought no more about it - then, today happened. We went for a walk at lunchtime, and she made me wear my jumper! My stupid damn red jumper in the picture down there, that she always said would stay in the house! And it gets worse! And made me try MORE coats on, and then she bought one. She actually bought me a. A very good cause.

diary of life with a spaniel: March 2011
http://diaryofatoerag.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Diary of life with a spaniel. Thursday, 24 March 2011. They don't come cheap! It's ok, Henry is fine (despite his best efforts with the electric fencing at work). However, on a trip to the beach last weekend I noticed him walking strangely after swimming (goose stepping is the best way I can describe it) so when the time came for his regular MOT with the vet it was very much on my mind. Henry has mild hip dysplasia. And therein lies the issue. I would love to be able to take Henry for this, but at £...

diary of life with a spaniel: August 2011
http://diaryofatoerag.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Diary of life with a spaniel. Monday, 15 August 2011. I think I have one. Henry clearly thinks I have taken out life insurance with him as the main beneficiary (I haven't) or have left all my worldly. Possessions to him in my Will (that would be half a bar of Galaxy and a ropey Ipod. And anyway, I haven't) because I think he's trying to kill me off. Which brings us to his final, last-ditch attempt at murder - the Spaniel Induced Heart Attack. You see, we went to the sea-side on Saturday, and after a ...

diary of life with a spaniel: November 2010
http://diaryofatoerag.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Diary of life with a spaniel. Sunday, 28 November 2010. Wednesday, 17 November 2010. I seem to have a real gundog. Well, almost. Henry and I are just back from our first shoot! Sorry no pics, this was not exactly planned and I didn't have my camera with me. So Henry and I have been beating this afternoon! But someone caught him and so all was well! And all the other lovely people who I spoke to! Monday, 8 November 2010. The Balloon of Doom. So, I walk Henry around the fields at work before I start work e...
