Opera Glove: Potential
http://operaglove.blogspot.com/2015/07/potential.html
Wednesday, July 15, 2015. I’ve been thinking…. As a young girl I was always praised for my voice and my signing. Other kids at school were so impressed and encouraged me to sing whenever it was possible. Soon teachers noticed my talent and gave me opportunities to preform at school events. My vocal coach that I started taking lessons with at thirteen said similar things, and she made it seem like I was great at singing classical music too. So my question is, should we be encouraged to do the things we are.

Opera Glove: FLASHBACK PART II
http://operaglove.blogspot.com/2014/06/flashback-part-ii.html
Friday, June 20, 2014. In "Klassisk Sång" we got to participate as the chorus of Hansel and Gretle, but we were all eager for our own roles. They made us paint our lips this big to look a little whimsical. Stockholm Operastudio year 1. Stockholm Operastudio year 2. There are more pictures to come from the last production of "L'incoronazione di Poppea", but the photographer is on vacation.so something to look forward to. Aw, all the memories these pictures bring. Makes me want to cry. Or eat.

Opera Glove: May 2014
http://operaglove.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 19, 2014. This weekend I went home to Bergen to celebrate the 17th of May with my family. At first it felt too close to our premiere, but now it feels like the smartest thing I could do. I feel more relaxed and ready to give everything I've. Got My voice feels much more stable and suddenly everything is easier to sing. A little break did me well. There's still parts of the music that need some fine tuning and thankfully we'll have a full day of that tomorrow! Friday, May 9, 2014. I can sort o...

Opera Glove: August 2014
http://operaglove.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 10, 2014. Getting back into the swing of things! When I was learning and rehearsing Poppea this spring, I sometimes got so tired of singing the same things over and over again that I'd stop and sing something else, even though I knew I still needed to practice Poppea, as it was so hard to learn in the first place. I thought, I'll just focus on Poppea and by the time I’ve learned the music and finished my performances, that tessitura will no longer be a challenge. Ve put into my technique.

Opera Glove: September 2014
http://operaglove.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 12, 2014. Songs of the week! I've been toying with the idea of creating my own little music list for every week to release on Fridays. Just for fun! Music is my greatest passion, and to ask me what my favorite song is or artist or more to the point, which opera is my favorite is the same as asking a mother which one of her children she favors the most. It always ends up being a clutter and there's no way I could ever publish it. I wake up with music in my head. 3 Come and get your love ...

Opera Glove: A quarter of a century....
http://operaglove.blogspot.com/2014/07/a-quarter-of-century.html
Tuesday, July 29, 2014. A quarter of a century. Written on my birthday, 28th of July 2014. Today I turn 25 years old. That’s a quarter of a century, makes a girl think! In many ways I thought I'd be somewhere else now, but I am happy to be just where I am! Thank you to my family and all my amazing friends! Without each of you I would not be the same person I am today. Unfortunately all my favorite people a scattered around the world, but here are some pictures of the friends I got to celebrate with!

Opera Glove: January 2014
http://operaglove.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 27, 2014. For the past two weekends I’ve been studying with my vocal coach at a master class he arranged for his students, which contained two full Saturdays of 40 minute sessions of singing for each student (ten of us in total) and a concert on Sunday. I can not explain how inspired I am, but I’m going to try. I didn’t go thorough to the second round and, frankly, I don’t care. I realized that I have everything I need right here where I am and here is where I want and need to be, for now.
