sound stitching: June 2008
http://sound-stitching.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
A stitch in time. or something. Monday, June 2. Come on, baby, light my fire. I'm continuing the random titling from yesterday. Go me. Today was Stitch and Pitch downtown at the Indy Indians game. There was no sunburning to speak of. So, even though they lost to the Mud Hens, I'm counting today as a win. There was much knitting. I had the remains of the May Flowers yarn from ThankEwe. 160;¡Arriba la Knitting Revolución! 160;The 1min. and 28sec. that the Wings were down by 2 men. Also, before I go to b...

Quick-Fix Knitalong: On the bandwagon
http://quickfix-kal.blogspot.com/2007/04/on-bandwagon.html
Saturday, April 21, 2007. I joined the Jaywalker bandwagon. I can't believe I waited so long to do it! And look at this yarn! This is J. Knits #130. (No, sadly, it doesn't have a cool city/state name.) The green doesn't show up very well in this photo, but I think it's the predominant color. I am hoping to finish this one tomorrow. (btw, the second Rainy Day Sock is headed for the frog pond. Apparently I can't knit that pattern and yak at the same time.). April 22, 2007 at 6:30 AM. Oh, I LOVE it!

Monday, April 30, 2007. Only time will tell. I'm still hoping to finish my last "quick" project before midnight. We'll see, I guess! I'll do a roundup post tomorrow, wish me luck! In like a lion, out like a lamb. Originally uploaded by atomic rose. My last quick-fix project: knitted shoes for a customer who plans to decorate them like crazy. My other last-minute project didn't get done, thanks to my allergies, having to take Benadryl, and then spending the rest of the day asleep. (I just woke up! The lov...

Miss Scarlet Knits: Stash Enhancement Thursday
http://missscarletknits.blogspot.com/2009/05/stash-enhancement-thursday.html
Thursday, May 28, 2009. Last Thursday I was lucky enough to spend the day with two of my favourite women, my mom and my aunt Judith. . Aren't they beautiful :). Judith lives in Seattle so I only get to see her once a year for Granny's birthday party in May. This year she and mom made the trek into Toronto to spend the day shopping with me. The goal was to find mom a Mother of the Bride dress and I'm happy to announce that we were successful at the first store we went into! It was a miracle! I *love* the ...

Miss Scarlet Knits: March STR Package
http://missscarletknits.blogspot.com/2009/04/march-str-package.html
Saturday, April 11, 2009. I can't believe I forgot to blog about this! A few weeks ago I got the March Rockin' Sock Club shipment. I was wondering who the pattern designer this month would be and, as soon as I saw those 1970s greens and browns, I knew it was the Yarn Harlot. I like the use of pink though, I think it gives it a nice softness and takes away from the 70s influence. Look at that cute little baby skein! Check out the pattern. The rosebud motif swirls across the foot as well. You can do it!
