Creations from the Hart. We made it through another work week everyone! For me and all my teacher friends, that means we’re one week closer to summer – and I know we all cannot. And found it really easy to follow. What you’ll need:. Wire wreath form – mine is 18″. Burlap ribbon – since I used an 18″ form, I used 5 rolls. Embellishments of your choice. Yep, that’s Haley’s tutorial on the iPad ;-D haha. Waited until this was 50% off to purchase. The first loops (or “bubbles”). You can see it taking shape!

If it's not about me, it's just not interesting. Friday, March 4, 2011. Let the Past Be. I recently got one of those forwarded emails from a friend, and glancing through it I was struck by something. One of the lines says, " Don't worry about people from your past. There's a reason they didn't make it to your future. So here, in alphabetical order, are eulogies for my two friends, A and S, who have recently passed on. I will miss the friend she was very much indeed. S was so much fun! What a great idea!

If it's not about me, it's just not interesting. Monday, October 10, 2011. Water Management as Political Choice. Last Tuesday my darling husband invited me on a date. Well. a sort-of date. He's an alumnus of Universiteit Twente, and to celebrate their 50th anniversary they are holding a series of lectures in all the major cities across The Netherlands. The lecture we went to was called "Water Management as Political Choice" presented by Prof. dr. M.M.R. Kuks. Alas, there was so little attention on this p...

If it's not about me, it's just not interesting. Thursday, September 29, 2011. Monkey off my Back! I read that expression recently, and thought, Bingo! I find this process of looking inside myself, of trying to see who I am, very interesting. I'm very confident with my values, and yet I find it hard to stand up for myself. That's why I get so angry, sometimes I am even perceived as aggressive, when inside I am feeling pushed around. I guess Bing Crosby was right, all the monkeys aren't in the zoo. I rece...

If it's not about me, it's just not interesting. Friday, January 14, 2011. So the former friend back in Canada, the one who was really un-friendly to me when I was going through a tough time, has finally responded to the many requests from me and my family members and is supposedly. Going to return the keys to my apartment and my bank pass to them this week! To just not be available for certain things, even if you usually are. We all have limits, and I can set my own. I don't want to be less of a...The b...
