Clueless thoughts of a clueless wanderer. Sunday, June 11, 2006. My counter tells me where people are looking at my blogs from. I know some of you, but many I can’t figure out. Who are Collegeville, Pennsylvania and Elizabeth, New Jersey? I’m really not sure why some of you keep coming by this blog. I haven’t written here in ages. I keep thinking I will get back to it, but then drop the ball. I’m working one up in response to a comment I got elsewhere. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Clueless thoughts of a clueless wanderer. Friday, February 23, 2007. A couple of weeks ago I made a comment. As soon as it got out of my mouth I thought, “Damn that sure was arrogant! 8221; I let it go, because as bad as it sounded I said it because I meant it; I believed it. Wednesday afternoon I got hit hard. This pride I had recognized a couple of weeks ago resurfaced. This time it hit me hard. I wasn’t proud of it and I’m still not sure how to deal with it. How arrogant does that sound? Good, Bad, I'...

A school in Arizona is interested in me becoming their Campus Pastor. I am to let them know Monday if they should book a ticket for a face to face on the campus. It sounds like an intriguing position. Call if you want to hear more details. Thanks for your prayers! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Good ones i've finished.

Clueless thoughts of a clueless wanderer. Thursday, March 29, 2007. The chats I’ve had with some friends recently have been interesting. Two are struggling with faith. They are struggling with the things they grew up knowing. I think they are struggling for different reasons, and their approaches to it are different, but they are both struggling. How do I walk beside them as they search? How do I help others question in healthy manners but not come to dangerous places as perhaps both of these have?

And It Was All Yellow...: Ashes to Ashes

http://yellowflowers16.blogspot.com/2005/02/ashes-to-ashes.html

And It Was All Yellow. Wednesday, February 09, 2005. Today began much earlier than most of my days. Working with college students allows me the freedom to stay up late and sleep in late. Not today. Today I woke up at 6:20 and headed to Calvary Baptist Church. Today is Ash Wednesday. Posted by Christy @ 9:34 AM. I'm struggling with how I will participate in the next 40 days. I guess I've got until 7:00 to end the struggle. I'm pretty sure I know what I need to do. Did you leave the ashes on all day? I not...

And It Was All Yellow...: Strong Lungs

http://yellowflowers16.blogspot.com/2004/06/strong-lungs.html

And It Was All Yellow. Monday, June 21, 2004. I am not a swimmer - meaning I have never been on a swim team, and while I can run miles and my lungs are trained to know what to do, a lap in the pool quickly leaves me without breath. There is a song that has been out for several years now entitled, "Breathe." This song has been sung by so many people in so many places that I think I involuntarily tune it out when I hear it. The older I get, and granted I'm not too far down this road, the harder it seems to...

http://yellowflowers16.blogspot.com/2004_10_01_archive.html

And It Was All Yellow. Monday, October 25, 2004. Okay, so it has been four long months since I have blogged, as my friend Craig recently pointed out. It is time to try to get some creative juices flowing again and to release my thoughts through these computer keys. Jason and I are in the City of Angels right now - attending a conference and celebrating our one year anniversary a little early. Today we went to Universal Studios and it was super fun! The First Epistle of Mark: February 2004

http://chappy711.blogspot.com/2004_02_01_archive.html

The First Epistle of Mark. Saturday, February 28, 2004. Tonight., YES TONIGHT (I owe this title to the many dedicated Young Lifers out there). Well, I finally did laundry today. The apartment complex that I live in has a wash room where two dollars in quarters gets a load of laundry clean and dry. So after four full loads of laundry, I finally have boxers on. Ahh, the touch, the feel of cotton. The fabric of our lives. The Passion of the Christ. Either way, I am excited about this movie. So all the laund...

http://chappy711.blogspot.com/2004_01_01_archive.html

The First Epistle of Mark. Saturday, January 31, 2004. All of this simply reminds me of my complete dependence on God for any relationship of "significant romance" with a female. As I read back over this post I really wish the above was exageration. Sadly, as my closest friends can attest, it is not. Father, I give it to you.again. Posted by Mark @ 8:59 AM. Off Yeah, MELTED OFF! Posted by Mark @ 1:17 AM. Friday, January 30, 2004. Is Waco worse off with me gone? Was it better with me here? My ego assures ...

Ordinary Nothing

A man can stand anything except a succession of ordinary days — Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Missing the glaring similarities. March 23rd, 2009. It’s sometimes surprising just how narrow the focus of some people can be, when they compare themselves, or a group they identify with, to people who aren’t them. Somehow. In a way they can rarely articulate. I’ll probably, laziness permitting, write a lot more about quite a few conversations like this that I had in the past. But this particular post is...I was t...
