If you can find sea scallops on sale, there is nothing more succulent to serve at a party. 1 lb large sea scallops: thawed, cleaned and cut in half. 1 pkg sliced hickory smoked or apple wood. Last night I was in the mood to bake something gooey in my ramekins and a co-worker suggested this incredible Alton Brown. Will keep you posted. Alton Brown's Baked Mac and Cheese. 1/2 pound elbow macaroni. 1 tablespoon powdered mustard. 1/2 cup yellow onion, finely diced. 12 ounces sharp cheddar, shredded. 1 teaspoon kosher salt. 1 cup bread crumbs. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir for about five minutes.
