Monday, June 30, 2008. 屠妖节（Deepavali）又称万灯节，是一个庆祝“光明驱走了黑暗，善良战胜邪恶”的节日。在本地，大部分的印度同胞是兴都（Hindu）教徒，屠妖节对他们来说，就像华人庆祝农历新年一样，是个重要的节日。传说古时候，印度有个凶残的魔王Narakasura。在他的统治下，老百姓的生活十分痛苦，民不聊生。后来，天神Lord Khrishna把邪恶的魔王杀掉了，为民除害。人们非常高兴，便点着灯热烈庆祝。从此，人们就将这个日子作为屠妖节，歌颂“邪不能胜正”的精神。为了迎接节日的到来，印度同胞会进行大扫除，把家里清理得干干净净。一般家庭也会购买一些设计独特的灯饰或以灯饰图案为主的装饰品，来布置房子。任何的节日庆祝活动，当然少不了美食。除了在聚会上让人可以大快朵颐之外，食物也是祷告仪式时必备的，一般使用的传统食物包括：athirasam、laddu、jelebi、murukku、jangiri等以面粉或米粉制成的食品。 Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wednesday, September 3, 2008. 有一次，数学考试时，我没准备好。由于我怕被父母和老师骂，便要求我的朋友小明让我操他的卷子。不料，他却拒绝了，说作弊是个不诚实的行为。我听了，怒气冲冲。那天的数学考试，我不会很多题目，便全都怪小明。放学后，我不等小明，就自己回家了，一眼也不看他。结果，回家后，我遇见了我的邻居。我发现他的脚上都有藤条的疤痕，便问他发生了什么事。他说，在考试时，他作弊了，结果被老师发现。老师通知他的父母亲，父母对他十分生气和失望，把他打了一顿。他感到非常后悔，然后对我说，他以后一定要做个诚实的孩子。我听后，马上打...通常这种题目的重点是在于这个人之前根本不重视友情，觉得朋友可有可无，比如，你可以说他是个自高自大的人，所以平时对觉得朋友不是很重视。结果因为一件事情，让他明白朋友在生活中很重要。例如，他朋友帮了他之类的。 September 5, 2008 at 12:20 AM. Wednesday, September 3, 2008. 有一天，我正在房间里做功课时，突然听到有人敲门。打开门后，原来是个推销员。他正在卖手表。我本来不想买，但他给我看一些手表后，我便改变心思。那些手表美丽无比，再说，我的说表已经旧了，应该换了。我便选了一个粉红色的手表，它很便宜，只卖十五元。推销员给了我一个新的箱子，说里面有另一个手表，我刚才看的不是拿来卖的。说完一声谢谢，他便走了。我回到房间里，打开箱子，里面竟然是空的！我立刻跑出去，向找那位推销员，但他早已跑掉了。我那时才发觉自己上当了！我怎么找也找不到那位推销员，我像打了败仗的士兵垂头丧气地走回家了。那位可恶的推销员！我悔恨交加，怒气冲冲，决定再也不要相信任何到门口卖东西的人了！除了可以说盒子里透没有手表（有点太突兀），也可以说成他骗你是个外头卖100元的手表，而这里只卖20元，你信以为真，便买下来了，后来父母回来，告诉你这是个外头只卖15元的手表，你感到受骗了!
