Sunday, June 14, 2015. Memorial Day in the Cities. On Memorial Day, (May 25) we played with Stacy and Dan up in the cities. We met at the aquarium, which is inside the Mall of America. It was the first time for Jeremy, Stacy and Dan. Tanner, Dallin and I have been there before with Grandma Nana, but that was almost 2 years ago. We all had a really great time! Tanner wore these paper goggles the whole entire time. This tunnel is really, really long! Tanner kept his paper goggles on the whole time. Is your...

Thursday, May 29, 2014. I hosted a Clothesline Baby Shower for my friend Bailey on May 17. She is having baby # 2, her first girl! She said she didn't need any presents, but when I asked if she had any baby girl clothes yet, she said no. So I knew exactly what the theme of the shower would be: CLOTHES! Game #1: Make a Headband. Game # 2: Sorting Socks. At the party, we split into four groups. Game # 3: Clothing Alphabet. For this game, Bailey held a bag filled with alphabet pieces. You can also use a...

Zavoral Villa: August 2015

Wednesday, August 26, 2015. We went to Sacramento from Sunday July 5 to Monday July 13 to see Gramma and Grampa Z and lots of extended family. Our trip began at 4 am with our drive to the airport. We took this picture because Stacy picked up the car a few hours after we parked it. She used it for the week, which was so nice of her! Over the past year, Stacy has helped us save thousands of dollars in parking fees at the airport. We really enjoyed the train ride! On Monday, the boys played a lot with Gramm...

Monday, March 30, 2015. Epic Family Trip: Leg #1 Seattle. This is the first of a series of posts about our very long family trip, Feb 27 to March 15. For the first leg of our trip, we flew into Seattle on Friday night, Feb 27 and stayed with Katie, Steve and our twin nieces until early Monday, March 2. We were super excited to see the girls. Also it was our first time to ever be in Seattle! We felt very blessed that they got settled right away in Kateve's home. We felt really special. Poor little Tan Man...

Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Our Thanksgiving week was everything we hoped it would be: Fun and EXTREMELY relaxing! My parents, aka Grandma Nana and Grandpa Papa, came to visit for the whole week, and then my childhood best friend Stacy and her husband Dan (who now live close to us) stayed with us for a couple days, including Thanksgiving day. It was so fun to have them all with us! Even though Dallin is already 18 months at Thanksgiving, he is still my baby! Dallin loves his Papa. We got lots of snow!

Zavoral Villa: November 2014

Friday, November 21, 2014. We Went to TEXAS. We had the opportunity to go to Rockdale, TEXAS to see our little niece, Leila, for the first time! But first, a few quick pictures of our Autumn time in Minnesota. Tree climbing with Daddy. And raking leaves with Daddy. Okay, now about the Trip to Zakina's (short for Zach and Katrina). Tanner thinks the airplane safety pamphlet is an "airplane book." He loves reading it all by himself). With short notice and short budget, we all just piled in Zakina's station...

Monday, April 27, 2015. Winter turns to Spring. This post features pictures from March 17 to March 30. When we got back from our Epic Family Trip, the weather was actually in the 60's. And it was time for St. Patricks' Day! I was really glad that I listened to the prompting to put up our St Patrick decorations before we left, otherwise we probably wouldn't have celebrated. We had some guest visitors for dinner:. The boys did some painting one day. It turns out that Jeremy also did some painting! One day,...

Monday, September 22, 2014. During our Colorado trip, we were able to visit with friends and family! First, we got to visit with Stacy and Dan. Stacy is one of my besties from Colorado, but she now lives in Minnesota, too! We spent the night at her place before flying out to Colorado the next morning. We went out to eat and played around in their apartment. Another perk is that they took care of our car while we were gone. At my parents house, we got to visit with the Northups and Uncle Lyman! Right afte...

Sunday, July 26, 2015. In June, I took a road trip with Tanner and Dallin to Colorado so we could see my Grandma Robertson and to let the boys explore my parents' property. Jeremy stayed behind because he already has all his vacation days reserved for this year. Jamie and I made a great team, and it was fun to chat the hours away with her. Explored the pond and fountain. And played in the workout room. Nana made these cute sandwiches. Experienced the best birthday parties, and built the best forts. I fou...
