Thursday, September 24, 2009. Links to this post. Labels: I just woke up from my nap. Yesterday Gray had his first visit with his pediatrician. While he'd previously lost a 6 ounces from his 8lb 2 oz birth, I'm happy to report he's back up to 8 lbs. When we took him back to the room at the doctor's office and placed him in his diaper on the examination table while waiting on the doctor to come in, he wet the table like I've never seen! Travis and I just died laughing! Links to this post. And he slept so ...

Gumdrop's Journey: CDH Awareness
http://gumdropdangelo.blogspot.com/2012/03/cdh-awareness.html
Where there is love there are always miracles." - Willa Cather. Friday, March 9, 2012. We were blessed with the birth of an almost perfect child. His imperfection was called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) and he had surgery to correct it when he was just 6 days old. He fought to get to where he is today. We strive to raise awareness for his fight and CDH every second of every day. We don't need an excuse to share the story of our journey. Pictures from last March 31st. Look How Far We Have Come.

Gumdrop's Journey: "THE" post
http://gumdropdangelo.blogspot.com/2009/04/post.html
Where there is love there are always miracles." - Willa Cather. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. So this is the post that I have been looking forward to/dreading for months now. We know we are close now and that the end of our NICU journey is near. So, we are obviously ecstatic! But again, please do not take any of this personally when we come across as overbearing and protective. Its just the way we have to be for Charlie's sake. . PS- Happy birthday Vince! April 28, 2009 at 10:11 AM. Charlie is in our prayers!

http://gumdropdangelo.blogspot.com/2011/11/trick-or-treat.html
Where there is love there are always miracles." - Willa Cather. Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Charlie and his little friend, Noah, were a big hit in the neighborhood while trick-or-treating in their thinga-ma-jigger last night. I have to give credit to our friend, Melissa, for coming up with the idea and making the awesome blue wigs though! We did nothing but buy a t-shirt and pair it with some red footie pajamas. They were both super cute and had a great time raking in the goodies! Look How Far We Have Come.
