Sunday, November 2, 2008. Here's our Halloween report:. Josh was a nerd. Joey was a soldier, Matt was Einstein, Kate was a pink princess. Kate played the part well. Matt's pumpkin is barfing. As the weather gets colder, I'm really doing my best to keep a good attitude. So I decided to share some of my favorite things about autumn:. 1 Pumpkin Bars. My friend Carrie got me hooked on pumpkin bars many many years ago. In turn, I've gotten a lot of people hooked on them too! The recipe is super-easy and highly addictive. 2 tsp baking powder. 1 tsp baking soda. 15 oz can pumpkin.

Sunday, March 15, 2009. A thank you note. I like doing the dishes. As a result, I don't ask anyone else to do them. I know, I need to let the kids do the dishes once in awhile so they learn how to do them. I'm really good at asking them to do the things I hate doing. But the dishes haven't made it to that list yet. Yesterday, Bryan asked Josh to do the dishes. I walked into the kitchen, and there was Josh, busily trying to figure out how to load the dishwasher. I was sick of complaining about the snow, so I thought it would be a good idea to make Joey's birthday party a "snowman party". We had a snowman cake. Played Pin the Nose on the Snowman. Saturday we went to the Calabasas Pumpkin Festival with grandma and grandpa. We had a time great looking at the street vendors goodies, listening to the Eagle cover band, "The Long Run", eating, playing carnival games and enjoying the nice weather. William snoozing with Grandma. Grandpa listening to the Eagles cover band, they were really good. William is 3 months!

William was fussing and I was in the office ignoring him. I saw a flash of something run past out of the corner of my eye but continued reading email. William calmed down, how nice, I thought and then I heard cooing and baby talk. I walked into his room to find this. Suddenly I didnt need a break anymore, this was too sweet.
