Friday, September 25, 2009. Fed calves at a friend's Dairy. Went kneeboarding at a family reunion. Watched and fretted over baby birds in our yard. Splashed in puddles after what little rain we got. Enjoyed our first ever sailing experience. Spent the 4th o' July camping with friends. Went to an Oregon Trail reenactment river crossing. Took horseback riding and buggy driving lessons. Held our annual family Pie War. Yes we really do spend an afternoon launching whip cream covered plates at each other!

Monday, June 28, 2010. We went camping in Lava Hot Springs, made our own soda and played in a geyser (84 degree water) in Soda Springs, saw lots of Oregon Trail stuff over several different outings, slept in a Tepee, toured a Wildlife Refuge, played at the local water park, H went to girls camp, Dad and S went to scout camp, and we got our new puppy (Sparrow)! Thursday, December 24, 2009. As is tradition, we made Gingerbread "houses" on Christmas Eve. only this year we didn't buy the box, instead each child got to design their own. It was a TON of fun! So much fun that next year I'm going to do one myself! H made the Tardis (from Dr. Who). S made a Daleck (Dr. Who again). E made a castle (complete with drawbridge and princess). Saturday, January 31, 2009. Thanks for checking in! Everything went fine with Tabitha's surgery. We showed up at 8AM for a 9:30 start time- and once again the wheelchair lift at the hospital was broken (same one we got stuck in a month ago) so I had to carry her, in her wheelchair, up the stairs(grr! FYI, her spinal injection trial has been set for Presidents Day, Monday February 16th- what a way to spend Dad's day off eh? Yawn, time for a nap! Tuesday, January 27, 2009.
