Thursday, July 8, 2010. So, for many years now, my mom has treated us to her delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter Cakes. I was surprised and thrilled when she decided to put her recipe in Rebecca's book. How nice of her to share! So, how does this pertain to my mom's peanut butter cakes? When Shannon attempted to make them, she was waaay short on the chocolate. Ooops! Someone must have made a mistake in the recipe. Perhaps it should have said '2 large Hershey bars? WHO'S THE NUTCASE NOW, RAY? Cooked (once o...

http://ourgrowingfamilythin.blogspot.com/2010/01/lying.html
And So it Begins. December 28, 2009. Friday, January 29, 2010. I lied to my doctor's office. I know, it's normally not a good idea but when they said, "Everything looks normal with your blood work." I faked a happy voice and said, "Great! When really what I meant was, "Crap! So I'm really just fat? So now the real work begins. As of this week I've cut out candy (including marshmallows! Growing Thin: Calorie Counting
http://ourgrowingfamilythin.blogspot.com/2010/03/calorie-counting.html
And So it Begins. December 28, 2009. Thursday, March 4, 2010. Please, please, please! I'm still hovering right around 150. My scale is really not very accurate but I'm not willing to hop on the wii scale until I am sure it will say I am under 150lbs. So hopefully by the end of the month I will be down around 145. Off to eat 640 calories! March 5, 2010 at 5:38 AM. March 5, 2010 at 8:37 AM. What does your book say about breakfast? March 5, 2010 at 1:47 PM. March 5, 2010 at 7:54 PM. March 5, 2010 at 9:08 PM.

And So it Begins. December 28, 2009. Tuesday, March 16, 2010. I'm so excited to say that I am finally seeing results! I weighed myself this morning and I was down to 146! I'm trying not to think about how quickly (or slowly) I lose the weight. Also, I decided that weekends are not for calorie counting. I didn't go crazy and I didn't break my candy or soda rules (I did have some delicious cheesefries though! I tried to eat everything in moderation. I even split my cheesesteak with the girls:).

NOT Julie & Julia: October 2009
http://nanamintercooks.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 23, 2009. Last weekend Shannon and I ventured out on our bi-annual (is that every other year or twice a year, because I mean every other year) road trip to Georgia with the little crazies. Yes, it IS 14 hours in a car with 2 little girls BUT it isn't. Hours in a car with a toddler and infant (which is what is was two years ago! And, because we get to spend three fun-filled days with Aunt Tara and Uncle Jamie, it's totally worth it! With a bun in her hair or roller-skating in a skirt!
