Thursday, November 26, 2009. On this Thanksgiving Day, I took a minute to reflect on all the blessings we've received throughout this year. I'm thankful for so many things. I'm mostly thankful for my family and friends, for God allowing me to raise His precious children, for my loving husband, and for having the opportunity of traveling to Ethiopia and experiencing my daughter's culture. H turned 2 and had a “fire truck birthday”. (In case you are wondering, fire trucks on Oahu are yellow, not red.) He had a great time and was thrilled with the numerous gifts he received from relatives. S’s talent for art is growing all of the time. Here is a dragon he drew recently. Friday, August 17, 2012. I remember seeing Eeyore eating huge thistles in Winnie the Pooh and I always wondered where those were. In fact the only reason I knew of them was because that was Eeyore's food of choice. Since living in Georgia I've now seen these gigantic thistles. Man I love them.
