And Then I Quit Stories. August 7, 2014. After we found out that we were having a girl, I got pretty excited about designing the perfect room for Lady B. It would have to be sophisticated and elegant, as I’m sure she’ll be. I’m sure she’ll never draw on walls or throw food, her hair will always be perfectly brushed, her dresses spot free, and her shoes on the correct feet. Yeah right. I’ve had my Eames Rocker. I sewed for a little place to rest our feet. I picked up the basket. From Target one day when I...

Amy has tons of fun stuff planned for them this summer so I doubt they will miss it too much. :). Here are the kids on the first day of preschool back in September. We think they have grown so much this school year. Both are two inches taller and so much more grown up. Time flies! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

GirlTravelOR: June 2015
http://girltravelor.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 5, 2015. A few of my not-so-favorite things. I just spent over $100 on pollution face masks. In case you hadn't heard, we did indeed miss graduation. In fact, we are STILL waiting on paperwork, though we are promised to be in the final stages! Hopefully we will be ready to apply for our visa in SF in the next couple weeks. We have a tentative leave date of July 5th. As we prepare, I am reminded of the things I do not miss about China. Expensive and hard to find American desserts. Happy 149th...

GirlTravelOR: Safety Restraints? Not here.
http://girltravelor.blogspot.com/2015/08/safety-restraints-not-here.html
Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Before we moved into our apartment, they had someone come over to fix the main air conditioner. I walked into the living room to see this:. To be clear, our apartment is on the 4th floor, and that is outside our window. Not sure exactly what he was standing on, but there's not much. I took this from another window. GirlTravelOR: New Home!
http://girltravelor.blogspot.com/2015/07/new-home.html
Thursday, July 30, 2015. We finally moved into our new home on Monday! It is large and nice and we are super blessed. Hopefully I can get some pictures up of it soon, but we're still working hard to get everything in order. We still have no dressers so funny enough we are still living out of boxes and suitcases for a bit. She probably has more clothes than any of us! I had also forgotten where. I had forgotten I had packed some of my softer intimates in to cushion between toys! And a nice sized flat scre...
