Sammy is going to get a 2nd visit from the Tooth F. Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Sammy is going to get a 2nd visit from the Tooth Fairy! So, Sammy actually ate his lunch at school yesterday for the first time! He had asked for a "whole apple.". So, I put one in there and when I picked him up from school he said, "Hey, Mom! When I bit into my apple at lunch my tooth got really wiggly! He was right. It was hanging by thread. But he didn't want to pull it out. This was him when he woke up. Look at that smile!

Swim Season is HERE! The boys have been swimming since April -they are crazy! It is definitely warming up here with temps in the 90s but the pool is still a brisk 76! I know, I know, back in NY that is bath water, but I guess my blood has thinned a bit from living in the desert for the last 5 years! JT is our little fish!

JTs Share Friend playdate and a dog update. Its a long one. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! Sunday, April 25, 2010. It hasn't been even a week since I last posted, but I found that I had lots of pics and video to share already! This is us just keepin busy! We had a bit of a cool down here this week. To start it off we had a bit of rain. emphasis on the bit! It dribbled for about 3 minutes, but JT took full advantage of it! Poor desert kids don't even know what rain is! Eli enjoyed being there too. Always a smile!

Monday, November 14, 2011. Cardinals Tour and Game! Last weekend we took a tour of University of Phoenix Stadium where the Cardinals play. We get inside in a small group of only about 15 of us. We were there with a few of the families from Chase's football team. When we get in everyone is excited to be the only ones in the joint! It is game day tomorrow and the Cardinals grass is rolled outside to grow and get ample sun and only brought into the stadium the day before a game! They just rolled it in.

Wednesday, November 3, 2010. I started out in Tatum's class. Then off to Chase's for a Toga party! They are learning about ancient Greece so had a party complete with outdoor Olympic Games, Togas and pottery making. They feasted on grapes, olives, cheese and pita bread. Actually turned out pretty cute! Tatum was seriously into it this year. She chose to do.what else. a puppy of course! Chase wanted a scary face. They did pretty good! Our sweet Princess Peach. Monday, October 3, 2011. Jim and I recently attended Shadow a Student Day! We were able to come to lunch and stay the remainder of the school day to see what it is like for them. It worked out perfectly! I started with Chase while Jim went off with Tatum, then we swapped halfway through so we were able to spend time in both classes. Luckily the kids still love having us with them :). Then on to Tatum's. Tatum had PE during my time with her so parents got to do that as well. They were seriously into it.

Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Fieltrip, Football and Dance! We had a busy-fun few days this past weekend! It all kicked off Friday with a 3rd Grade field trip to the Sonoran Desert Museum in Tucson. Note to self. when offered a chaperone spot on a school bus headed to Tucson (a two hour long ride by bus, 4 hours round trip! Complete with an entire 3rd grade class of hyped up kids. just say no! What was I thinking? Should have driven alongside and just spent the darn gas money! Even Tatum gets some practice in.

Sunday, September 26, 2010. Chase and Tatum are both on soccer teams this fall! We are not so used to soccer as Chase hasn't played since he was much younger but I am loving that all of their games are at the same place! They wanted a shot of their numbers. First up.the Golden Dragons. Chase's game was first. Here he is practicing beforehand. I know he is my kid but he really amazes me! I swear he is a natural at any sport he tries? Even amongst kids who have been playing for awhile. Again, so proud.
