The nurses say she is not interested in bottle feeding because she is so tired. So they put a feeding tube down her nose into her stomach again. A doctor in the graduate NICU called me today to tell me just how amazed Malena is doing and that she will becoming home soon. Well no one tells me what soon is…. Filed in Graduate NICU. The nurses and doctors have been talking about how sometimes with babies and eating “it just clicks”. This is exactly what happened with Malena this weekend! It will just take time. My guess would be maybe two more weeks or so until she can come home. So we didn’t mean to worry any of you by not posting. There just isn’t much to report. We will do better at posting. Thank you all for your continued prayers, phone calls, texts, cards! Filed in Graduate NICU. So glad all is going well!

Saturday, March 31, 2012. We woke up the girls this morning to go to the Easter Egg hunt at 8 am. Jefrie didnt want to wake up until i mention candy. When we got there they were pretty excited about it. Jefrie did pretty good, she just had to take a good look at the candy before she put it in her bucket. Aaron said that Eastyn picked up the first package of marshmellows and was ok with just that. lol Aaron helped her realize there were more so she at least got 3 candies. lol. Friday, March 30, 2012.

Saturday, October 29, 2011. Little Red Ridding hood and Minnie Mouse. The cutest little Minnie Mouse ever! Eastyn hated wearing her hood but she is still cute! Bun in the oven. Yes, I am pregnant! Life throws us curve balls and this was one. But we are excited about it and the girls are too. Jefrie likes talking about the baby in her tummy and mommies, and Eastyn just loves babies so I know she will love it. Eastyn tried to pick this one up all by herself then. Of coarse they couldnt do it together either.

Tuesday, February 14, 2012. We made sugar cookies for Valentines day today. I gave them each a cookie to decorate for daddy first. Jefrie did a great job but Eastyn just ate the frosting and sprinkles. Then we colored daddy's valentine cards and put stickers on them. He loved them!
