I Love You...I Think: Don't Forget
http://heartjamieanne.blogspot.com/2008/04/dont-forget.html
I Love You.I Think. Sometimes I think I'm in lalalalove. Soon I realize it's just lust. Tuesday, April 29, 2008. If I had my own house with my own bathroom with my own mirror (which technically speaking, I do- -I'm just not living there. I would have this taped to that bathroom mirror. As a daily reminder. Kind of like a different way of saying "Don't forget to stop and smell the roses." It's the words I like. But the photo is pretty sweet too. Labels: Caught My Fancy. little lined notebook: January 2008
http://lanewrites.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 27, 2008. This is a person who, every time he spoke, restored my faith in the human capacity for goodness and love. This may be the only person I'll ever miss who I didn't actually know. That's part of his gift- I think many of us feel, in a way, one of his. Saturday, January 19, 2008. Famous weddings at the Biltmore include Sandra Day O'Connor's. Celebrity honeymooners include Ronald and Nancy Reagan. The Biltmore was owned for many years by the Wrigley family, of the chewing gum fortune.

Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Cover once that was a New Yorker's view of the United States. Manhattan takes up most of the picture, New Jersey gets a shout-out, but after that the rest of the country is squished into a couple of inches with a only a few random states and cities named before Hollywood, and then the Pacific Ocean. But it still feels like New Yorkers think of California as a quaint. For example, Jamba. Having lived in Utah and California, I was baffled and somewhat smug, knowing that smoothies wer...

little lined notebook: February 2009
http://lanewrites.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 23, 2009. If I haven't returned your phone calls, texts, smoke signals.it is because my thesis is due one week from today. Unfortunately, imminent doom is my only real motivator, but it is quite effective. Last week I upgraded to Shark Week intensity- because what is more intense than a whole week of sharks? Thursday, February 19, 2009. The advent of Ali and Curt's baby, or "Uzi" as he has been nicknamed, means the family offspring has tripled in the last week and a half. I think I a...

I Love You...I Think: I Left My Heart (and my chocolate vowels) In Saint Remy
http://heartjamieanne.blogspot.com/2008/09/i-left-my-heart-and-my-chocolate-vowels.html
I Love You.I Think. Sometimes I think I'm in lalalalove. Soon I realize it's just lust. Sunday, September 28, 2008. I Left My Heart (and my chocolate vowels) In Saint Remy. I got these wonderful chocolates little chocolates from southern France. I thought they were pretty neat cuz they had letters of the alphabet on them based on key ingredients. So I got to thinking of all the fun things I could do/words I could spell/jokes I could play with these little alphabetical wonders. I too am glad you are back!

I Love You.I Think. Sometimes I think I'm in lalalalove. Soon I realize it's just lust. Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Saw Sex and the City. Less than 24 hours after I touched down in the states (an offer of besties and clothing candy is just too good to refuse). Love love loved it. In love with these clothes. Oh yes, and these blue Manolo's. But not as much as I lalalaloved these words to Beethoven's Immortal Beloved. Woops, that was me. I can't wait to hear about your trip! Welcome back from China!

I Love You.I Think. Sometimes I think I'm in lalalalove. Soon I realize it's just lust. Thursday, May 15, 2008. If you think I don't blog enough as it is, things are only going to get worse I fear. For a little while longer. I'm getting on a plane to the far east, and I won't be back for a few weeks. So, zai jian for now. You should see all the ugly shoes I bought for my journey. Hopefully the ones I come home with will be cuter. I hope you have a great time! Can I place my order? You will be missed!

little lined notebook: harvest display
http://lanewrites.blogspot.com/2008/11/harvest-display.html
Wednesday, November 19, 2008. When I got this month's. From my mailbox yesterday, I was startled and happy to see Wayne Thiebaud on the cover. The tell-tale signs were all there: the food, the little halos around the food, the sometimes garish colors. Which are on special. I love this post! I haven't received this issue in the mail yet, but now I can't wait! The only problem with The New Yorker is that those suckers come so fast. I'm always stressed about trying to keep up. I'm like 30 behind. I live in ...

little lined notebook: March 2008
http://lanewrites.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 29, 2008. My good friend Niedert. Tagged me to write a post about my husband. Nicknames: Mr. Woolfie. Turd Ferguson, Brittany (only by his hometown buddies), B Dub. How long have you been together? About 7 years. We dated on-and-off for six years; we have been married for seven months. What, we had commitment issues. How long did we date? So long his Dad offered to perform free eye surgery on me if we would finally get married. Surgery- what better incentive? Who said I love you first?

little lined notebook: and uzi!
http://lanewrites.blogspot.com/2009/02/uz-man-cometh.html
Thursday, February 19, 2009. I went to DC to meet this little one last weekend, and he stood me up. He decided to come five days late. I have to say, from the looks of it, he is worth the wait. The advent of Ali and Curt's baby, or "Uzi" as he has been nicknamed, means the family offspring has tripled in the last week and a half. I think I am won over by the power of babies. I had almost forgotten how a newborn makes the whole family unabashedly sentimental, and in the best way, a little bit giddy.
