OutRunning the Cloud » It would be funny if it wasn't happening to me

4 years ago in January, I found out I had breast cancer. I won’t retell the whole story, but it’s here. If you are curious or a new reader. I cannot believe everything that has happened in the last 4 years – I don’t even recognize my life anymore: the store is gone, my husband died, we moved…. none of it has to do with the cancer specifically, but it does seem like the dominoes haven’t stopped falling since that year. This post has no tag. I hope to go to less than 8 funerals. Less screens, more books.

outrunningthefork | When exercise just isn't enough….

When exercise just isn't enough…. Why Do I Run? This isn’t an easy question to answer but I’m going to give it a try…. I was a late starter with running. Growing up I would have done just about anything to get out of running in PE class. When forced to, it would take me the entire class period to run a mile. * I did however love the time we got to do hurdles*. So what made me start running 25 years later? And then, after my first marathon I just kept doing them. Keep in mind, my training has*NEVER* b...
