Nothing is impossible for God. Friday, November 27, 2009. November's almost over already! Well, after getting October done finally I was on a roll, so I decided to work on the November pictures as well. Besides, many of them are just pictures of things that actually happened in October. I started with a "photo eulogy" of Opa, and pictures from his funeral. Thanks to MaryAnna, Uncle Al, and Angela, Jeremy and Ben for the pictures. Opa pictures. Come see what he meant to me. Finally, I wanted to mention my...

Talk Nerdy To Me: Kai Turns Nine: Halfway to Adulthood
http://www.talknerdytomeblog.com/2015/08/kai-turns-nine-halfway-to-adulthood.html
Monday, August 03, 2015. Kai Turns Nine: Halfway to Adulthood. Today our Kai Bear turns nine. He let me know that he is officially halfway to being an adult which made me stop and think. An adult? Yes, I can see it. Kai is a typical oldest child in that he's responsible and a good leader. Yes, he might like to lead a bit. Much and is a touch. Too competitive, but really, if that's our biggest concern right now, then I'd say we're just fine. PS Your freckles are so cute. I may know a bit about it too ;).

Talk Nerdy To Me: June 2015
http://www.talknerdytomeblog.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 29, 2015. At the Risk Of Happiness. What is that sweet spot between being safe and responsible and allowing, or even embracing, risk and change? What helps us out of our comfort zone? If what we are currently doing doesn't make us feel happy or fulfilled then maybe we need to alter our mindset or our situation. It sounds simple but what holds us back? I knew that my parents did not want us to risk our job security. They each had the same job for over 30 years. Crazy, right? Well, fast-forwar...

Talk Nerdy To Me: An Honest Look At Where We're At
http://www.talknerdytomeblog.com/2015/08/an-honest-look-at-where-were-at.html
Saturday, August 08, 2015. An Honest Look At Where We're At. Sohow are things going after adding another child to our family through fostering? It started off with a lot of adrenaline and emotional (for all of us) and has now morphed into a time of exhaustion and cuddles and some "wonderful" viruses. How are our biological kids doing? How is the Little One doing? Beyond what my own kids did. The night time? How am I doing? And then at night I feel like "Oh my goodness, I don't know what to do! I hope you...

Rejoice!: December 2009
http://rebeccajz.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Nothing is impossible for God. Saturday, December 5, 2009. I said, "Thanks, Carrie Ann! I really appreciate that you waited in bed for me." Thinking to myself, I've been using the word "appreciate" around her for a couple weeks yet, and who said two year olds can't use four syllable words? When she answered, "I 'preciated that you comed back, Mommy." I love it when my kids appreciate me. PS don't try to make complete sentences of everything I just wrote; I didn't. Links to this post.
