Living our happily ever after – southern style! Before I was a mother…. Posted in Life In General. Before I was a mother, I never knew how many conversations I’d have about poop. I never knew how excited I would be to watch my baby learn something new. I never knew just how tiny newborn diapers are (and preemie diapers in our case), and how fast they would outgrow them. I never knew I could miss someone in the very next room so much, when I lay her down to sleep. I never knew just how important naps are.

Chaotic thoughts and beautiful things. I like to play "make-believe.". Quite often, when i'm listening to music, a song will just hit me; i'll see a (usually) completely unrealistic, highly dramatised portion of my life as a very stylised, music video-type clip. For at least ten years, whenever i heard the song "here, there, and everywhere" by the beatles, i would see myself in a white dress, dancing with some faceless man to our first dance as husband and wife. Really, it just begs. To be a wedding song.
