We all do it. We write about ideas with the expectations and hopes of fulfilling them. Some work out brilliantly, some not so much. At the start of the year. I wrote about getting to sleep before 12am and waking up around 8am. I did that maybe twice? I wrote about keeping my desk clean, and I was partially successful. There’s now much less crap on my desk just the right amount of clutter for a normal person. To be one of those people who can wake up at 5am and feel refreshed, but I have to start somewhere.

You should read Hayley’s post. About Disneyland Paris, it’s much better than I can do. It’s also full of wonderful photos. Here’s my favourite part of the trip though. We were walking out of the park, with everyone else after the show as the park was closing when Paul pulled me to the side just outside the Park entrance (and the Disneyland Hotel itself), and a little way away from the huge crowd, he got down on one knee and proposed! I couldn’t be happier!

Web Developers Conference 2015. Developer at Cross Stroke. Paul is a web designer and developer at his new one-person agency. He focuses on front-end code and tying that into a CMS. Until May, he was a front-end architect/developer for the Ghost publishing platform. Some of us find that perfect job overnight, and are happy there for 30 years. Rel="bookmark" class="entry-title" Adventures with :fullscreen. I’m approaching the end of a small front-end build for a client that I’ve been working on over the past few months. It’s been a fun WordPress build using Masonry. Which has set me some fun challenges to achieve what the client has required. I did however run into a bug. The client has a few videos on Vimeo. This worked perfectly on my screen and my test pages, however on their screen (Safari 6 on OSX. Tests showing this working correctly.

Counted embroidery work is my main hobby and I have a large stitching stash. Some of these projects are huge and take years to stitch, and while others are a quick project. Between years of being a workaholic and now being ill, often only a half-dozen of these projects received attention in any given year.
