Dairy Grazing | From green grass to green pockets!
From green grass to green pockets! Winter will end….I hope. March 1, 2014. I’m running low on forage supplies and a late spring will not help for sure. It takes me about 2 weeks to transition to 18 DM/lbs of grass intake. At best, It will be 6 weeks until that stage is reached. I’ll likely need to buy in about 20 tons of hay or baleage to reach that point. Other than that, all I can do is wait for it to warm up. The good, the bad and the ugly. January 27, 2014. Fill a Glass with Hope. For over 60 years, the PA Dairymen's Association. Has provided smiles to visitors to the Pa. Farm Show in Harrisburg, Pa. in the form of delicious, frothy milkshakes. The Association also provides fried cheese cubes, ice cream and grilled cheese sandwiches during the Pa. Farm Show. We've help launch the first state-wide program with Feeding Pennsylvania to Fill a Glass with Hope. PA Dairymen's Association was originally formed as the Crawford County Dairy Association in 1871.
