http://devastatingtheobvious.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 28, 2006. Ok, so it's been a long while since I posted anything. A loooong while. It's not like I've had a lack of things to talk about - from the interesting turn of events at this month's Inheritace game, to the fun times at E's bachelorette, the beginnings of the Pirates and Serenity games, or how Layne defended his thesis and is now a Master of Science! I am a firm believer that "Science! I have a webcomic. I bring you all. Weregeek.com! Posted by Alina at 6:10 PM. I spent this past...

Thursday, December 21, 2006. Presents are bought, the house is cleaned, and we're braved the roads between Saskatoon and Regina. (Lots of deer, not as much black ice as I'd been led to believe.) Apparently, my mom spread the URL for my comic around at her office, so there's now a bunch of profs with color prints of my comic up on their doors on campus. Wierd.

Monday, July 31, 2006. Speech. After having given it nearly every game, I've really got it down pat. Wednesday, April 26, 2006. I will sit all the animators down and make them watch how it takes me two hours to fix something that ten minutes work on their end would have solved. Not that I'm complaining. It's still a kick-ass job. But, enough about work! Posted by Alina at 10:32 AM. Thursday, April 20, 2006. Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Because I spend the majority of the day at my computer working with shots, it's easy to forget that I'm working in the film business. Sure, I have to walk past the sets on my way to the lunch room, and I have to run all my work by the directors before they get sent off to editing, but I'm not involved in the filming process much. (Hence the term, post-production.). I have a film shoot tomorrow. I feel all professional and stuff. ;). Posted by Alina at 10:26 PM. This weekend's KC ...

Thursday, June 29, 2006. My Ifrit Costume - Keeping careful vigil, or poised to pounce? Harry Potter was quite delightful. There were a few kids there, and it was so much fun to watch how much enthusiasm they had for the game. The set dressing was even better than I had imagined (I really love the little magic store they set up in the other room), and there were some great costumes overall. I threw my costume. I don't know how scary the finale was, but when I emerged as the monster. The costumes were equ...
