Photo by Hoofclix.com. Tales of Taco the Wonder Horse and his ammy rider on their way to a Training Three Day. Thursday, November 17, 2011. Taco is back under saddle! I've been sitting on Taco! On November 2, I tacked up up and climbed on board. We had a little bit of pharmaceutical help to make sure he stayed nice and mellow. He was indeed very mellow, and he had a nice stroll up and down the driveway with Kate and Graham to keep us company. November 17, 2011 at 7:33 PM. November 18, 2011 at 5:49 AM.

Photo by Hoofclix.com. Tales of Taco the Wonder Horse and his ammy rider on their way to a Training Three Day. Saturday, June 2, 2012. Hello again, Team Taco readers! It was one year ago this weekend that Taco got injured, at the Indiana Training Three Day. Here are my posts from June of last year. That describe Taco's awesome performance and then our discovery of his SDFT injury. The leg has stayed cool and tight (knock wood). I am feeling very optimistic. Doc and me (r) with Megan and River at Chatt!

Our first one since the injury in June 2011! Taco thought the Novice fences were rather unimpressive. I hung on and managed to survive the whirlwind that is Cat Burglar, Wonder Horse. Option B, Version 2.0. Smile cue transitions to the kiss cue. So we've started Option B, version 2.0. Archie is being segregated from the other geldings overnight so that he can stuff his face full of hay, in a pasture, and we can determine if this is the cause of this month's episode of Killing My Pony. I pulled him out of the pasture on Tuesday and he was drenched in sweat and blowing, hard. The angle might be exaggerating, but not by much. My 6'3" husband was pushing the scale at over three hundred po...

I am Boyfriend: November 2009
http://www.iamboyfriend.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
This is my story. It is the story of the bond between horse and human. I am special. Monday, November 30, 2009. Attack of the Groundhog. Ok, the groundhog has me a little freaked out. You may recall I mentioned there was a growing hole in the area of the stall next to me, and a correspondingly growing pile of dirt. I heard some of the humans making a groundhog comment, but. what size of a groundhog must it be? Something about this is just so NOT RIGHT. What if it is the amoeba. What if something worse.

I am Boyfriend: December 2009
http://www.iamboyfriend.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
This is my story. It is the story of the bond between horse and human. I am special. Thursday, December 31, 2009. Owning Boyfriend is a joy and a curse. Watching a six year old, very newly castrated, hardly halter broken horse leery of most people (and frightened of most things a normal horse can take in stride) transform into a self composed, barn favorite, friendly to all, magnificent and intelligent horse. well, I imagine it's a bit how a parent feels. The doctor said that he was surprised by how bad ...
