Friday, May 22, 2015. I never imagined that as I sit here a year later, she has been gone from my life for a month. Although I knew putting her down was the right thing to do, it didn't lessen the incredible sadness and grief I felt at saying goodbye. Although I will always miss that sweet girl, the pain has lessened considerably since I got a new dog. Introducing.Ella! When I got to the shelter, a volunteer showed me Ella, whose name at the time was Comet, and she was as cute as her picture!
