Tuesday, January 15, 2008. MARAN Rosh Yeshiva ZATZAL. No words can possibly describe the loss that the world has just felt with the passing of Maran Rosh Yeshiva ZATZAL. More than 60,000 bnei torah (in NY) gathered to pay their last respects to the sa'ar hatorh of America. An approximate 100,000 gathered in Eretz Yisroel outside the Mirrer Yeshiva for the Levaya. Following the wishes of Maran Rosh Yeshiva ZATZAL, the mantel as Rosh Yeshiva was passed-on to his son, Rav Asher Dov Berenbaum Shlita.
