Pastor John’s Blog. When we come together on Sunday morning we begin with Praise and Worship. Praise and Worship is not just listening to the pretty songs that the Praise team is singing. Because no matter how well they sing, and they do sing well, they cannot praise God for us. That is our job. It is not Dawn’s job to praise God for the congregation, it is her job to lead us in praising God. February 10, 2009. Hi there. I am Pastor John Mroz, the Family Life Pastor of Parkway Christian Center.

What Will the New Year Mean to You? « Pastor John’s Blog

https://pastorjohnmroz.wordpress.com/2009/01/02/what-will-the-new-year-mean-to-you

Pastor John’s Blog. What Will the New Year Mean to You? As we begin another year we look forward to another year of what we can accomplish in the Lord. We look forward to the challenges that the Lord will give us and how we can accomplish what we need to do to further His kingdom. In that journey we don’t arrive until we receive our ultimate reward. So why should we be satified with the status quo? Why should we be content with anything less than the Lord wants for us? Push forward in your knowledge of t...

Pastor John’s Blog. As we go through our Christian walk we will undoubtedly go through seasons of trials and storms. This is not something that we can avoid. It happens. It is called life. James 1:2 says “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials.” Did you read that? 8221; No, we want to say, “this stinks.” (or worse). Verse 4 conntinues, “. But let patience have. The Lord did give me a word for my wife a few months ago and that is through this adversity she will be able to speak in...

Pastor John’s Blog. First of all, my apologies for being away so long from the blogoshphere. I will try to post more regularly in the future. I want to talk about excellence. The dictionary defines excellence as the state or quality of excelling. Excellence is considered to be an important value, and a goal to be pursued. Colossians 3:23-24 (New King James Version). And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men. You serve the Lord Christ. More than once I have swept the floor of the ...

2009 March « Pastor John’s Blog

https://pastorjohnmroz.wordpress.com/2009/03

Pastor John’s Blog. It has been said that the theme “Fear Not” is mentioned 365 times in the Bible. One for each day of the year. If that is true then why do we, as Christians, occupy so much of our energy with fear. Many people live their whole lives bound up in fear to the point that they are crippled. They miss out on what life has to offer them because they fear of what. But now, this is what the LORD says. He who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel:. March 24, 2009. Hi there. What Is He Thinking?

What Is He Thinking? The musings of Pastor John Foreman, Adventure of Faith Church, in Port Orchard, WA. Sunday, May 31, 2009. This was our first cruise ever, and we honestly cannot remember the last time we spent a week together without either our kids or some of your kids. We relaxed, ate too much, and were reminded again of the awesomeness of God's creation as we sailed among the mountains of Alaska. We've posted some pictures. Of of the highlights of our adventure. More Than A Song

More Than A Song. John Glover, keeping a generation in tune with Jesus. Friday, May 22, 2009. Jesus said, "I am in the Father; you are in Me and I am in you." Jesus on the outside and Jesus on the inside. Pretty good protection! Monday, April 20, 2009. What made him endure his injuries to the end? When asked these questions later, he replied, "My country did not send me 7,000 miles away to start the race. They sent me 7,000 miles to finish it." Quote magazine, July 1991. Friday, April 3, 2009. Pastor John Keller | Reflections of a Lutheran Pastor

Reflections of a Lutheran Pastor. Let Go of Words. A young man came to my office years ago looking for help with his marriage. An older friend had recommended me because Pastor Keller is really good at prayer. I was surprised and a bit flattered by the recommendation but also confused. How would someone know that I was good at prayer? I have learned that I am not alone. In his book. Without Buddha I could not be a Christian. Paul Knitter, a Roman Catholic theologian, writes,. Enough words for today. ...

John Merritt;

A modern day adventurer trapped in a pastor's body. Posted By John Merritt. On Aug 5, 2015 0 comments. Are these seats taken? I politely asked. Yes they are and it’s not a full fight, she replied. Looking around there was maybe 2 middle seats left between some men that looked like offensive linemen. The cabin doors were closing so I said to the woman, I’d like to sit in one of these seats. At that she became very animated and said, The airplane is not full! He can sit somewhere else! Surprisingly, she so...

More Than Sunday

Connecting life and faith outside of the pulpit. Alking alone, Lord, you go to your sacrifice, victim of death, and our death's mighty conqueror. What can we say to you, knowing our poverty, you, who have freed us from sin and from slavery? Ours are the sins, Lord, and we are the guilty ones, you, in your innocence, take on our punishment; grant that our spirits may share in your suffering, may our compassion respond to your pardoning. JUST WAIT – IT WILL CHANGE. Bull;February 14, 2011 • 1 Comment. When talking about the weather with anyone in Colorado, you will soon hear the expression, If you don’t like the weather in Colorado just wait five minutes and it will change. Well last Sunday we were up in the mountains, standing in more than a foot of snow, with more falling fast and the temperature in the single digits. Today just a week later it’s beautiful deep blue sky and nearly 70 degrees! What a wonderful taste of things to come!

A Leaders Life.

An inside look at the heart of a Pastor as he journeys to Connect People, God and Ministry. Monday, October 7, 2013. Drifter or Follower" that is my thought this morning. Do I have real impact in life? Is the purpose that I say I live for, the real purpose for which I live? Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. http:/ bible.com/1/pro.4.26.kjv. As a professing believer we are more than just drifters drifting through life. I don't wanna claim to know You. Monday, October 22, 2012.
