I have experienced the Christmas story differently this year. I've experienced it as a proud father of a new born child. I marveled this year as I read through the entire Christmas story in the Gospel of Matthew, especially that of the journeys Joseph, Mary and Jesus had to make together. These are a few of my thoughts for the journey this year in 2008.

New barrel has been branded for my baby boy and his sour blend that I’m starting in the next couple days. Wicked Weed was a pretty awesome brewery visit. The Funkatorium was a sweet bonus and was walking distance from the full restaurant where we had dinner. Oldest beer I’ve ever had… Clocking in at 14 years. Super Sweet, and thick like molasses. Delicious! Vertical Epic - 06.06.06. All the dark fruits. Plum, prunes, raisins. Pretty amazing after 9 years. Found at a local bar. First beer of the day.
