I ventured to Vegas with a few Principals from Middleton to attend the Solution Tree Leadership Summit. We arrived just in time to participate in the 'big' arrival of Mariah Carey.{way too over-rated} and of course we had no idea this would be going on at The Caesar's Palace while we stayed there. Liz and Louis' dog, Drake (a Vizsla) that the kids simply LOVE! He is so full of energy (just like Jersey) and they clearly love to babysit! Posted by Pat Berg. A kid day in the park is put on every year in McCall called Kaleidescope! Every year we stand in line to make an annual tie dye shirt. This year we made a tshirt for Cooper and since Amiah was gone Pat made her a pillowcase. So hot, but another great summer day in McCall! Why couldn't he settle for just a small face painting? A date night. yummy Moscow Mules for spring. Yep, how many days? Neighbor Mimi came over to enjoy my own German Chocolate Cake {I made for myself}. Koen was very excited to see Santa this year. Sage - not so much! Still angry about the whole Santa thing. I love the peacefulness of a lighted tree in a dark decorated living room. It always brings back the feelings of magic and wonder Xmas inspired in me as a kid. First attempt at a picture in front of the Xmas tree for a Xmas card photo - not so successful. The weather wasn't as cooperative this year, but it didn't matter- we still had a great time doing all sorts of activities as a family. The biggest change was how much more independent the boys were- making friends with our roommates, going off to activities by themselves (though not much).
