Patchwork and Pins

Saturday, 8 June 2013. Hi everyone :) I'm popping in to show you a couple of little projects I started and finished recently. I somehow ended up finishing these two projects and the Mushroom Houses quilt. More on that in a later post) all in one weekend. It was a little hectic! The first project was a cushion for my lovely mum-in-law. It was her 60th birthday recently and to celebrate we had a holiday in the Alps in France together, along with assorted family members including our gorgeous nephews. Final...

Patchwork and Pins: October 2012

http://patchworkandpins.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 30 October 2012. As I came home from work yesterday I noticed the postman making his way down my street. I could see he had some packages in his arms. I may have got a little excited! He was a couple of houses away, so I let myself in and then waited in the hallway - I live in a top floor flat, that's a lot of stairs to go up and then down again! And sure enough, a package for me popped through the door. Wanna see? My attempt to get a light photo involved han ging the bag literally on the window!

Patchwork and Pins: Houses under Construction

http://patchworkandpins.blogspot.com/2013/03/houses-under-construction.html

Saturday, 9 March 2013. Hi all :) Wow, it's been ages since I last blogged. I don't know if it's the miserable weather or what, but recently I've been so tired all the time I've only just had enough energy to manage work and watching TV, so sewing and blogging have taken a bit of a back seat! But I have been slowly progressing, so here's where I'm up to :). And here's the progress on the back so far:. Rubbish photo, sorry! The back was inspired by the back of Juliet's Tilda quilt. 9 March 2013 at 20:37.

Patchwork and Pins: A little progress

http://patchworkandpins.blogspot.com/2013/02/a-little-progress.html

Tuesday, 19 February 2013. I'm working on two projects at once at the moment, which is quite unusual for me! I'm normally a one project gal. But here's what's going on at the moment :). I made my first block! It's so pretty. Completely in love with the fabrics. While my hubby and mother in law were tiling our bathroom (thanks guys! I did a lot of cutting:. And I've since been sewing the pieces into rows:. I also took the slightly-too-girly houses fabric:. Hope you're all well :). 19 February 2013 at 18:16.

Patchwork and Pins: December 2012

http://patchworkandpins.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html

Saturday, 29 December 2012. Making a List, Checking it Twice. Happy belated Christmas everyone! Hope you all had fun. We were with my family for a very relaxed Christmas, which was lovely after the busyness of house moving. We're now back home for a day and a half and then off to see the hubby's family. Fun times :). Anyway, it's now time for Kelsey's. Anyway, here are my results! 1 Finish frog project. I'm part way through blogging about the quilts for my friends' new twins. Photos taken by Sadie. It di...

patchwork&paper | fabric and paper on the floor

Fabric and paper on the floor. June 6, 2015. I have been busy working on my Cico Books. Project as of late but before I was smashed, I finished up a few more quilts for Quilt Now! On one of my strolls through Pinterest I found this cool little postcard that used a bracket as a graphic pattern. I’m a designer or was not to long ago so I came up with this idea and pattern. I bought from the Festival of Quilts. And I got to work. First by making the template…. Once you get close to the end it is best to use...

patchworkandpotpourri | Pieces of Life

A New Lease On Life. March 28, 2018. Redemption, salvation and Holy Week…. Recently at my workplace, a meet and greet happened with some program hosts. This kind of event happens from time to time when one works in media/television. Rarely will I go and wait in a line to meet people, unless I am a fan of their work. In this most recent case, I did, because I am. When it was my turn to meet them I expressed my appreciation for the work that they do, and they told me that their business and their philosoph...

Patchwork Prayers

I have a lot to say. I'm always looking for someone to listen. My biggest fear is not being remembered. My biggest trial is leaving my mark wherever I go. My greatest failure is that I'll never succeed. My greatest success is looking at all the people I meet while chasing my greatest dream. I'm going wherever the wind and God take me. You're welcome to follow my journey. Saturday, June 25, 2011. I guess love costs a day at Hersheypark and an evening out. Wish I was that rich. Posted by Patchwork Prayers.

Azuliverde patchwork & quilting

Azuliverde patchwork and quilting.
