A Cancer Treatment Journey. First week of treatment of epiglottis cancer. Asymp; Leave a comment. The first trial radiation was on Monday, August 8th. It was about 30 to 45 minutes for all kinds of x-rays under the mask which can be a little nerve racking. Tuesday Radiation was the real thing, I wanted to cry when the mask was placed on me but did not because crying hurts my soul and Throat! I hope she still is after this treatment. It is so Great to have family and friends to help through this cancer.
