Dody's Cabin Garden: February 2011
http://dodyscabingarden.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 27, 2011. For the past several years we have spent. Superbowl Sunday with my husband's family. His sister Sandy hosts the festivities at her house. We all contribute to the food and beverage. This year we opted for just snack type refreshments. I think next year I want to go back to chili. I'll make it. The guys put a football pool together. Takes lots of concentration to figure it out! I do not think any of us are real football fans,. Except maybe Ryan and Brent. It was so embarrassing.

Dody's Cabin Garden: One mile
http://dodyscabingarden.blogspot.com/2011/07/one-mile.html
Sunday, July 10, 2011. Today I ran my first mile in probably 18 years and it felt GREAT! When the kids were here last week I was inspired to get back into running. I used to run and bike almost every day when I lived in New York, but once I moved to Virginia I just got away from it. I went out this week and purchased:. A pair of Foster Grant sunglasses $10. A Timex watch $34. I have 2 nieces that are runners that live within 4 hours so maybe I can hook up with them for a race. July 10, 2011 at 3:46 PM.

Dody's Cabin Garden: Quick visit with Sean & Jess
http://dodyscabingarden.blogspot.com/2011/07/quick-visit-with-sean-jess.html
Saturday, July 2, 2011. Quick visit with Sean and Jess. Sean and Jessica flew in from San Diego for the 4th of July holiday's. They arrived Wednesday evening. Jessica's twin sister Jennifer picked them up at RDU,. Along with 11 month old Reagan and her pup Tommy. I took Thursday off to spend the day with them all. Sean and Jess had gotten used to the cooler San Diego climate. And found the Virginia hot and humid temps a little too much,. But not too bad for early morning extreme exercise workouts.

http://dodyscabingarden.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 26, 2011. My daughter-in-law Jessica was on the east coast. For training and was able to get up to Halifax. For a quick visit in March. Pepper and Jess had plenty of play time. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Sean dressed as Superman! The weather was really nice. And we were able to get outside and practice with Pepper. Jessica helped Garland with Pepper's SAR training. No, this is not part of SAR work,. More like a Ninja Warrior. Is this what Jessica was practicing in Norfolk?

Dody's Cabin Garden: the Lizard
http://dodyscabingarden.blogspot.com/2011/05/lizard.html
Monday, May 30, 2011. Saturday morning I noticed our cat Wilhelmina looking down at the ground, so the curious person that I am, I went to investigate. Down on the ground I saw this thing wiggling and it appeared to be a lizard. We have several around the cabin and I usual see one sunbathing on the front stone steps, well on further inspection this tail was detached from its owner. Now I am told that a lizard can lose their tail to escape from predators like my vicious kitty. One tail, still fresh. Aweso...
