A Smack of Ham: 10/26/08
http://demi-tasse.blogspot.com/2008_10_26_archive.html
Sunday, October 26, 2008. A Hell of a Town. I'm in Chelsea, in New York, in a hostel, eating a Whole Foods salad (in which I kind of wish I hadn't included dried cranberries), with five minutes and fifteen.fourteen seconds left of internet time left. Saw the Statue of Liberty from the subway (how is that possible? It goes over a bridge to Brooklyln). Fell in love with Brooklyn brownstone neighborhoods, with pumpkins on the front steps and leaves piled up on the sidewalks. No one here wears them).

TESL in Bangkok: July 2007
http://meganinbangkok.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
A journal of my foreign experience. Tuesday, July 31. At Nature Resort, the grey clouds lifted a bit and there were a couple hours of clear blue sky and the sun even popped out a few times. We were greeted by a cute little lady with a very low voice, and then led to our huts by a crazy thai host who we later played volleyball with in the sea (as the British say). Monday, July 30. Mr A, as he preferred to be called, "spotted" tiny tiny things from the road. lizards 50 yards away, a spider web, etc....

A place where tea is called 'friend'. 20 September, 2008. On a Very Special Oolong Fancies. Dear readers, it is time for a shameful confession to you all: I am leading a double life. Perhaps some of you are aware that I’ve led a monogamous relationship with my bicycle, Her Majesty the Cannondale. Where am I going with this and why am I telling it to you? Yesterday I had a brief run-in with the law that has convinced me to come clean about a few things – firstly said run-in:. Several minutes of cars honki...

Oolong Fancies: Made
http://ericgarner.blogspot.com/2008/08/made.html
A place where tea is called 'friend'. 20 August, 2008. Dear reader, the summer is over! It has been so long since I last graced your life with a witty, albeit poignant post on pedestrians or port holes. I hope you are not too testy because of my absence, but I won't place a wager on it. You're lucky I don't poop on you," you coyly coo - or at least so I imagine you spoke thus. I know that the world missed me, for two days ago I finally made it as a blogger. Someone finally payed you for a blog entry?

Oolong Fancies: April 2008
http://ericgarner.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
A place where tea is called 'friend'. 22 April, 2008. Yes, this is me working. Am I a workaholic? I saw a bubble float past my window, fat and wobbly and ripening toward that dragonfly blue they turn just before they burst. So I looked down at the yard and there you were, you and your mother, blo...
