Saturday, 19 October 2013. So I've been working on these for the last couple of weeks, in between stuff for Malifaux. Finally finished the first 6 today and here are the results:. These were bought a couple of years ago and were going to be used for a gladiator game that one of the club members was building a coloseum for. And as with a lot of projects over the years it stalled. Still, they were something different to do and although, not the best sculpts out there I think they've turned out ok. So bye b...

http://paintingbynumpty.blogspot.com/2015/05/guildball-overview.html

http://paintingbynumpty.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Monday, 27 June 2011. Right, the bases. A couple of you have asked how I've done them. It takes time but I'm pleased with the results. Sunday, 26 June 2011. Well, a week has gone by and I've managed to finish my first unit of 30 skeles. After receiving some constructive and not so constructive criticism, I made a change to the base edge colour to help elevate the bases, themselve. I've also reduced the number of models needed to complete the unit by using both 40mm and regiment bases. Sunday, 19 June 2011.

Tuesday, 26 November 2013. So as usual I've been bouncing from project to project - Mighty Armies, a dragon, and Viking Berserkers. So, for today I'll show the berserkers in progress. I've actually finished the first four but haven't had time to take the photos yet. But the above shows where I'm going with them. These are foundry figures and are a joy to paint. I did think about varying the bear skins but in the end, decided to do 'em all pretty much the same way. Can't say I'm complaining as I'm looking...
