Thursday, November 27, 2014. Today we were thankful to spend the day with our friends. It's our fourth annual macrobiotic Thanksgiving feast. What do macro's eat on Thanksgiving? Here's what we made this year. Triamble Shamrock Pumpkin stuffed with Mushroom Stuffing. Mashed Millet and Cauliflower with Mushroom Gravy. Sweet Potato with Candied Nuts. Blanched Salad prepared by our SHI classmate Christine. Grilled Endive prepared by our friends Carlo and Lio. Jesse's Sourdough bread fresh out of the oven!

Saturday, February 28, 2015. Susan and Sasaki: Day 27 Almost done! I hope you have enjoyed following my cooking journey. I finished two more recipes yesterday. That means 80 recipes done and 2 more to go! Today, February 28th, is the last day of my project. Tonight Jesse and I will be hosting the Beverley Concert Series. Monday, January 19, 2015. What I plan to do this week is go for a medium grind, to see if I can find the sweet spot of flour that is course enough to be strong and stand tall, and be fine enough to get more air in the bread. That is assuming that I am correct in my diagnosis that the fineness is what's influencing my outcome here. My overall verdict is that although last week's loaves stood tall and had wicked awesome ears, this week's loaf was better tasting. Air tastes good. I go on experimenting.
