To raise funds for the climb. They have been kind enough to give a good green's fees rate so a ticket price of $110 will still provide a good margin for the fundraising. Well, the generous folks here in the ROEE Program at AMP Capital Investors have donated another $400 and the AMP Foundation agreed to match $1,000 of the donations! Jamie's Big 6 Kilimanjaro Adventure. Thursday, November 09, 2006. Interviews, Achilles, and Tickets. Well, the Achilles is healing. slowly. 3 more weeks in plaster and then a month or so of rehab. So the climb is most definitely on! I was contacted this week by Mission Australia and it appears that I will be interviewed by a few publications for my thoughts and experiences thus far. I've had my medical checkup and my vaccinations, after which I've broken the tip of my left index finger! It's all good. it was really painful to have the blood drained from my fingernail today but at least it won't affect the climb. I spend last weekend buying most of the gear at Pally Paddin's.
