Just a quick update. Today at my ultrasound they found an additional 2 eggs bringing the count up to 18. YAYY! Tonight I start my Ganirelix. My Gonal-F dosage remains the same by my Menopur is increasing to 225mg. So far I have been feeling the normal abdominal complaints that come along with a cycle for anyone that has endometriosis. I can’t say that anything in particular is much different than normal. I am slightly more bloated but nothing too out of the ordinary. August 13, 2015.

Day 2 Embryo Update. It has now been two days since my egg retrieval. All 10 embryos are still growing. My clinic stated that they should be between 2 and 4 cells. Surgery and Upcoming FET. My clinic says that there isn’t too much of a difference between an AA and an AB. We are maybe leaning towards the boy anyways because of the higher rating. But I have always dreamed of having a little girl. A boy would be fun too. AHHH decisions. Luckily I have a couple more weeks to think about it. I just missed the cut-off for a December FET. I am now hoping for an early January FET (my clinic only has an embryologist for a little over a week every month-ish). October 22, 2015.

It isn’t a problem that I will need the surgery before a frozen embryo transfer because we are doing genetic testing. All of my providers have recommended it due to my past pregnancy losses. The Stress of it All. Yes sure there might be some people out there who are unable for years and a year after they adopt they get pregnant. Sure some of it might have to do with stress but another portion is just based on probabilities.
