And as I watched him take his last breaths. I worried of my own regrets. And hoped he’d come to peace with his. I wondered of his regrets.

It will always be true that prayer is not enough if you won’t help yourself. Sometimes, I have these days when I just pray but after praying, I didn’t help myself from committing sins. I am overwhelmed with joy in the Lord my God! For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness. I am like a bridegroom in his wedding suit or a bride with her jewels. 8211; Isaiah 61:10. The greatest relief people can have is from a deep sigh of faith. A deep sigh knowing money and names don’t matter- but our spiritual health. I do have a casual tendency to be silently thinking about something or talk simultaneously jumping from one topic to another.

Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name. I think it’s never enough that you just say to yourself that you trust God. If you believe in Him and His plans, it’s also favorable if we show it to Him by following His words. But, not to the extent that we do it because we know it is required. A space for my words to meander. He crouched on the floor of the packed subway train. 8 00 am, I was work bound. I watched him. I questioned his reason why he was with all of us on that train. We have learned-us and them. But what is this us and this them? My leather purse in lap, iPod in ear. His clothes tattered, hair unkempt and face unshaven. My clothes carefully chosen, hair brushed, make up on. His hands covered his eyes, with the occasional glance outwards. He was traveling westward, as was I.
