procrastination is life.: September 2009
http://procrastinationislife.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
I am having a hard time blogging, with my ipod touch i do most of my internetting on it. Writing a whole blog on it doesn't make so much sense. so i haven't done it in awhile. Not enough time, too small a keyboard. that's it for now. It's been a month and a half since my last post. wow. i'm in the middle of a ruthless job search. i am kicking ass and taking names. actually, no, it is not very successful yet. but it will be. it has to! This isn't about my lack of a RN job. It is about FALL! But anyway i a...

Step By Step: Moving On
http://pressingtowards.blogspot.com/2007/05/moving-on.html
Monday, May 28, 2007. It's been a while since I've updated. Tomorrow, I have my meeting/interview with dCOM. I'm just glad that I'm finally getting the ball moving on the whole ordination process. As I evaluate my life and my calling, I find myself wanting to move away from youth ministry. I still love working with the youth, but I think I'm just preparing myself for the next part of my life. But, this is not really my choice, is it? I will go wherever I'm called to go. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

procrastination is life.: #213 - sick
http://procrastinationislife.blogspot.com/2010/02/213-sick.html
Sucks to be sick. I'm in bed right now, trying to blog and rest. I have a raging sore throat and overall malaise. Luckily I don't work till friday but I have tickets to see Elton John and Billy Joel tonight! It's in ten hours so hopefully laying in bed for that time will help me feel better. I don't wanna miss it! Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone. Just sleep for 10 hours before the concert, then take a ton of tylenol severe cold and youll be fine (better than fine, haha). Step By Step: What Do You Look for in a Preacher?
http://pressingtowards.blogspot.com/2007/06/what-do-you-look-for-in-preacher.html
Saturday, June 2, 2007. What Do You Look for in a Preacher? Sorry for the lack of updates. Been real busy. Tomorrow. er. today kicks off our "fishing expeditions" (as Rev. Hamilton would call it). Not only that, I'm in the midst of preparing for two retreats. It's getting crazy. Since we are trying to reach out to our community and may have few new comers here and there, I began to ask, what would you look for in a preacher? Or expect from a preacher (whilst he preaches)? construct a life: #311 - broken
http://construct-a-life.blogspot.com/2010/02/311-broken.html
Thursday, February 11, 2010. February sucks. this time last year i was just starting an awful three week painfest with shingles. this year february started with an infected cyst, moved on to a broken car door, then a broken computer, and we're not even to that damn valentine's day yet, sheesh! But after that it totally crashed and now it doesn't boot up at all. GRR! The worst part of all that? And this is the second time it happened. well, the first time (which was also almost 4 years ago, right abou...

Thursday, April 1, 2010. 317 - make it so. Remember last april 1st when i blogged about the tauntaun sleeping bag. From thinkgeek.com and how awesome that website was only to find out later that the product was an april fool's joke only to find out later that so many people actually tried to order the sleeping bag that thinkgeek.com decided to try and actually make it only to find out later that they succeeded and now you can buy yourself your very own tauntaun sleeping bag for $100? Of course, they also...

construct a life: May 2010
http://construct-a-life.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 23, 2010. 318 - my almost puppy. This is my 24 hour puppy. here's how it happened. A couple of weeks ago we had a baby shower for one of my co-workers at work. so everyone was crowded in my office eating and talking, and my other co-worker brings in this cute little puppy! Before i even had a chance to say anything, my co-worker puts him in my lap and says "look puppy, you found a new home! 4) when i do get a puppy, i'd think about getting two so they'd have company when i'm not around. Here ...

construct a life: #312 - idol again, girls top 12
http://construct-a-life.blogspot.com/2010/02/312-idol-again-girls-top-12.html
Tuesday, February 23, 2010. 312 - idol again, girls top 12. Hmm, so i'm trying this new thing called "having a social life." it's difficult. so much easier to sit home in quiet and blog all night, but i think the "having a life" is probably the better path to take right? 2 ashley rodriguez - ooh, okay, she's hot. i don't really care what she sounds like, i'd put her through just for hotness. sounds like she has a stylistic voice. meaning, maybe there's something there, but it's gonna take a s...3 janell ...

Step By Step: Korean Congregations Killing Pastors
http://pressingtowards.blogspot.com/2007/05/korean-congregations-killing-pastors.html
Tuesday, May 22, 2007. Korean Congregations Killing Pastors. Yes That's how I strongly feel. Korean congregations, for the most part, are not pastor friendly. It's ridiculous of what they expect and want from their pastors. There's no room for error nor grace. This is what I feel, that the church knows they are not perfect, but they don't really want to be. They'd rather see it in their leader. Either because he can't nor he doesn't want to (WHICH IS STILL FRIGGIN RIDICULOUS! This is why many second gene...
