Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Our dear friend, and former Baker and Daniels colleague of mine, Clay Miller, invited us to stop by his brand new. Cottage on our way home from Onekama. Located just north of the Indiana-Michigan border in Harbert, Michigan, Clay's new abode was just one house in from Lake Michigan nestled in the woods. And Clay was asked to read Fancy Nancy. While two vacation weary parents happily relaxed. We have cautioned Clay to invite carefully as future invitations will be accepted.

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Fairies and ducks and cats.meow! For weeks Sage has told anyone and everyone that she was going to be "a duck" for Halloween. Apparently Grammy had worried that I wasn't in on this. No worries, Grammy, Mommy is on top of it. Earlier in the month the girls went to the Northside Twins and Multiples Halloween party as fairies wearing their flower girl dresses from Auntie Mere's wedding last year.with some minor, fluttery additions. Wednesday, August 21, 2013. For the fifth summer. 20-30 feet in the shallow waters. The static backdrop also allows us to focus on just being. Nothing much changes year to year, so there's no pressure to do. Anything. The lakes will still be there. Blueberries should still be there. Some day the girls will be big enough, and strong enough swimmers, to sail and we'll take the Force 5 up, but until then, there's no rush. We are Adam and Kristi DeVries. We are currently building our own monolithic dome home. The structure of the dome is made out of an airform, isonene foam, rebar,and shotcrete. The inside of the dome will be like any other house! Hope you enjoy our story! This picture was taken in April of 2009, shortly after we put some of the windows in.
