That's one of my favorite meals ever and so far I feel fine, so that's good news. I asked for tomatoes instead of mushrooms (haven't added back in mushrooms yet). Friday, November 7, 2014. Elimination Diet Round 2. Well after several months of feeling sick most mornings, I decided to give the elimination diet another go, but this time an easier and shorter version. Instead of starting off avoiding every food that is commonly troublesome to people, I'm just going to avoid the foods that were sort of iffy for me the first time around. I'll be avoiding:. Monday, April 13, 2015. The low FODMAP diet is hard. I don't know if it's harder than the elimination diet I did before, but perhaps my expectations were that this one would be MUCH easier and it's not really. I didn't know I would feel so drained/weak not eating foods with FODMAPs. It's also really hard to eat enough to feel full. My GI symptoms are better, but mentally and energy-wise I feel worse. Stomach problems persisted, so I saw a doctor at the Digestive Health center, who recommended trying an acid reflux medicine for 2 weeks (didn't work), and then the low FODMAP diet, so that's what I'm starting today. This is similar to, but sounds easier than, the Elimination Diet that I followed. Earlier. Saturday, November 30, 2013. Elimination Diet - Day 70 part 2. I'm still having issues even though I went without strawberries today :-/ Was it the walnuts I added to the fudge to make them "healthy"? And the chestnut soup last night? Nuts were iffy the first time I added them in, but then I added in almond milk again and that's been going well. Wednesday, March 5, 2014. My 3 Favorite Tofu Recipes. If you can find Wildwood's vacuum-packed tofu. You won't need to press it first! Their site says it's available at Whole Foods, Willy Street Co-op East, and Hy-Vee. I saw it at Willy West today too. Use in pasta dishes, sandwiches, burritos. pretty much goes with anything. 1 pound extra-firm tofu. A spray bottle of olive oil / PAM or 1 scant teaspoon olive oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 3 T fresh lemon juice (1 lemon). 2 T soy sauce. 1 lb firm tofu.
