FILMS : Paul Graham ( MACK, 2011). 写真家ポール・グラハムによる、フィルムへの賛辞。20世紀の偉大な発明、光を写すという夢を現実にした魔法のメディア、フィルム。たった１世紀ののち、まさに今消え行くメディアの代名詞でもあるわけだけど、グラハムはその存在の不思議さに、ワクワクする秘密に今一度寄ろうとする。自身の過去の作品のネガ、また何も写さなかった最後のコマをスキャンし、それらを超拡大すると、見たことのないアブストラクトな景色が浮かんでくる。過去の作品のアプロプリエーションでありながら、自身の「ネガによる回顧（Negative Retrospective）」でもあるわけです。（カッコいい）. 彼自身によるデザインも潔い。余白がなく、それ以外に目に入らない本の作りが、作品に没入させてくれる。全面グロス加工によるピカピカつるつるの手触りも、フィルムのテクスチャーを想起させる。 Part wistful homage, part farewell, part visual wonder,.
