My First Blog: Editing Final Photos
http://amyg-photography.blogspot.com/2011/02/editing-final-photos.html
Wednesday, 9 February 2011. I first edited the Levels on this photo to correct the exposure as the original photo was a little under exposed. I then increased the saturation as the other photos had more saturation and they need to all look as apart of the same place. For this photo, all i had to do was desaturate it a little bit so that there wasn't too much colour. The first thing i did with this photo was desaturate it a bit to make the green less vibrant. My First Blog: Photoshop Edits
http://amyg-photography.blogspot.com/2011/02/photoshop-edits.html
Tuesday, 8 February 2011. This is what the photograph looked like before i started to edit it. As you can see the background is very under-exposed. I started off by editing the levels, to correct a bit of the background exposure. I then corrected exposure, mostly gamma correction to correct the background exposure more and to make the levels in the whole photo look more equal. I then made the photo more vibrant to bring out the colours more that may have gone from correcting the exposure.

My First Blog: William Eggleston
http://amyg-photography.blogspot.com/2011/02/william-eggleston.html
Wednesday, 2 February 2011. William Eggleston was born in Memphis, Tennessee and raised in Sumner, Mississippi. Eggleston's early photographs were inspired by the photographer Robert Frank, and by the French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson's book, 'The Decisive Moment'. He first photographed in black and white but in 1965, started experimenting with colour. In the early Sixties, his dominant medium became colour transparency film. This is Close to a photo that i wanted to take. Instead of photogra...

My First Blog: Response Photos 'Someone Was Here'
http://amyg-photography.blogspot.com/2011/02/response-photos-someone-was-here.html
Tuesday, 8 February 2011. Response Photos 'Someone Was Here'. These are the photos i took in response to William Eggleston and Mark Ruwedel. This photo is a little blurred so the focus isn't accurate, however it makes the viewer question the photo and see that someone has been there. I think this photo is quite effective, the marks on the cup show that someone has been there. Also the big '16' on the cup shows information about who was drinking from it. Supposedly a 16 year old girl. Plan For Final Piece.

My First Blog: Plan For Final Piece
http://amyg-photography.blogspot.com/2011/02/plan-for-final-piece.html
Tuesday, 1 February 2011. Plan For Final Piece. I've got two ideas for my Final piece. One of these ideas is taking a series of photographs of different gatherings, for example, church, bus stop etc. and the final piece would be all of them set out next to each other to make a gathering in itself. My First Blog: Re-shot photos
http://amyg-photography.blogspot.com/2011/02/re-shot-photos.html
Wednesday, 9 February 2011. This photo is effective as i like that the bottom left corner is in the light and the rest is in the shade, However the photo is vertical and it wouldn't fit in with the other photos for my final piece. I like that this photograph is at an angle as it makes it look interesting, and like the last one i like that the bottom left corner is in the light as it gives the photo more composition. This photo was over exposed and not in focus at all so this photo can not be used.
