Glasgow Natural History Society. The Glasgow Natural History Society is a registered charity (SC012586) with more than 230 members living in Glasgow, the West of Scotland, and other parts of the UK. The origins of the Society go back to July 1851, when the Natural History Society of Glasgow (NHSG) was founded by nine gentlemen interested in the pursuit of natural science.
