In the evenings mum and sister would light all the diyas and I would pretend to help.And the best part would be sitting on the terrace watching all the rockets.Diwali was always marked by our neighbour-uncle hanging up his battered yellow star shaped lantern, which would stay there till new years eve. Good days those! But times sure have changed. Neighbour uncle has got a bright orange lantern now. :) Saw him hanging it up today. Heres wishing everybody a super-duper Diwali!
