On top of the roof leaking so bad that the bathroom ceiling is threatening to fall in, the house having minimal insulation so that I feel breezes around every corner, the carpets need to be replaced, new blinds all over drafty windows and barely any cabinets at all. Monday, December 13, 2010. Now, as a mother, I cringe when I hear the s-word! I know the kids are going to have school and I am going to have to find a babysitter to try to make it to work and drive in the bitter cold to work. I have lost all appreciation for snow. Shoveling the porch, cleaning off the car, digging my car out of the driveway and then driving to work with crazy people who forget you can slide on ice! December 14, 2010 at 1:10 PM.
