Wednesday, October 5, 2011. She was Cinderella, riding side saddle, behind her two most handsome nephews, gentlemen perched atop their own strong horses. Her toes dangled and her veil swayed with the horse's gait. They rounded the corner and the people who loved them most were already on their feet. I ran around in the grass, sidestepping the zanzare as they bit my bare legs. Great candids are easier to come by with four photographers. Let's hope this works. It was a magical day to be sure. Sunday, September 30, 2012. Bring on the Brisk, Please! It's officially fall in most of the country. In San Diego, it's hard to enjoy the lingering heat of a mercurial summer, especially when around here the seasons are green and brown with no rainbow of foliage as enjoyed in my youth in Utah to speak of. I love the pumpkins. Here in BC the days are shorter but the weather also is warm and without rain. We should have had rain since September. October 1, 2012 at 9:14 AM. Come back to Utah! Anyways, 1-800 Contacts paid for Josh to run the race. I planned to run it too, but kept procrastinating on the registration. When I finally went to register it was full! For those who don't know, i used to shift work for almost 5 years, and it didn't matter what time of the day or night it was, i could either be alert or tired. but for more than 2 years i have been working 'normal' hours (at the moment 10am - 6pm), and i have very much become a morning person. I guess i can still 'push through' tired periods, but it's so easy to get into a routine. Is it weird being 29 and ready for bed at 10 pm?

Sunday, November 13, 2011. Peach Jelly. yum yum. What to do with a whole bunch of peaches? I didn't feel like just canning them this year. Especially since I don't own a pressure canner, nor do I remember how to use one. I decided peach jelly sounded good. I prefer jelly over jam. I guess the difference is that there are no fruit chunks? I think I went 29 years of my life getting that one mixed up. Anyways, I like whatever is spread on my toast to be nice and smooth. So jelly it was! 2 T lemon juice.

Truth to work on assumptions. Monday, April 20, 2009. How weird is it when suddenly out of the blues, you ex calls. I find it damn weird. Seriously. Last week sunday, I just got my laptop. I thought it was for a very good deal. I can paly like the latest game on it: Left 4 Dead. Anyways, its a 360GB space, 4GB ram, duo core processor, ATI Radeon Model 3450.
