Saturday, June 11. Using the Energy and Nutrient Composition of Foods. Tool on the Health Promotion Board website, I have come up with a table of the components of the food I've eaten over the span of three days. Chinese cabbage with fish cake. Carrot, potato, pork ribs soup. Bitter gourd with egg. Because the dishes cookie [from Day 2] and tofu with century egg [from Day 3] were not present in the list of food provided by the tool, I had to use the Recipe Analysis. Tool to find out their compositions.

Friday, June 17. Name of 1-dish meal:. Sapporo Style Tonkotsu Flavour Ramen. Wheat Flour (75%), Water, Salt, Potassium Carbonate (E501) and Sodium Carbonate (E500)]. Pork Flavouring, Soya Sauce (Soya, Wheat, Water, Salt), Corn Starch, White Vinegar, Garlic Oil and Sugar]. This is a healthy one-dish meal because it consists of the basic requirements of a one-dish meal [carbohydrates, protein, vitamin, minerals] and also contains fiber. Sunday, June 26. Ho Xin Ying's blog! I thought that the diet analysis was very detailed. She broke up the food she consumed over three days into their different nutrition components and also compared it to the recommended amount of energy, protein and calcium needed daily for her. Sunday, June 26. I think it was good that Drusilla organises her information in a neat manner, so that it is easier to view them. She split her reflection up into different parts, addressing different components each time. Her suggested one-dish meal appears to be really healthy! It was good that she altered the dish to suit her diet, so that it can be improved. She also explains very clearly how the dish is healthier than the original one. Overall, this blog was very well done!

Friday, June 17. From this Performance Task, I have learnt a lot about the different nutrients that are comprised of in our daily food intake. Also, I’ve come to understand more about my diet and how I can improve it to lead a healthier lifestyle.
